About this episode
Jerod and John discuss the meaning of true religion as described in James 1.
Jerod asks John to clarify what James is saying at the end of chapter one, where he writes: If any man among you seem to be religious, and bridleth not his tongue, but deceiveth his own heart, this man’s religion is vain. Pure religion and undefiled before God and the Father is this, To visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction, and to keep himself unspotted from the world. What is religion? Do we have it all wrong? Are we deceiving our own hearts? Program: Biblically Speaking Aired: February 21, 2015
