Tudor has many years of experience of the semiconductor industry, after graduating from Swansea University in 2003 he completed a PhD in RF Engineering at Cardiff University, he then started his career as a MMIC design engineer in the aerospace industry, progressing through various roles until arriving at Filtronic in 2021. Filtronic is a leader in the field of RF microwave and mmWave electronics systems, designing and supplying highly specialised semiconductor devices and hybrid electronics assemblies for applications like satellite communications and radar. The company has a range of standard products and works with customers on customised solutions. The episode focuses on the applications of Gallium Nitride or GaN devices in aerospace and automotive like radar systems and traction inverters.
