About this episode
This episode discusses the true meaning of repentance as a realignment towards Jesus and the transformative power it holds.
Repentance isn’t about guilt—it’s about realignment. In this episode, Joey shares how true repentance means turning our hearts back to Jesus and allowing God to rebuild what’s broken. Drawing from Paul, Nehemiah, and John the Baptist, we see that complaining and confessing may look similar but lead in opposite directions—one toward bitterness, the other toward transformation. Repentance is not something we manufacture; it’s a gift God grants that leads us to truth, joy, and freedom. Rebuilding, restoration, rebirth, renewal only come through repentance. When God’s people repent, heaven rejoices, hearts are restored, ruins become revival. Let’s rebuild together—by repenting together. Write your own prayer of repentance this week—recognizing God’s faithfulness, your need for renewal, and your desire to return fully to His way. Bring it into your community, and watch what God rebuilds through repentance.
