Law of Conservation of Energy Correction for 7:20 - this is not technically true. We are not creating the hydrogen, but breaking it apart from water/methane/insert. The bonds between hydrogen and the other elements in these substances are usually covalent, and thus difficult to break, which is why it requires a large amount of energy.
