| 7/7/16 | ![]() 126 – It’s Been A Lackluster Summer, Except For That Farting Body | With Special Guest Neil Miller! This week, Katey Rich finally has Charlie Gul'Dan and David's on assignment, so Matt Patches and Da7e invite Film School Rejects' Neil Miller over from the Citadel of Crazytown to fight in our war room. This week, the guys all like Swiss Army Man, the Paul Dano and Daniel Radcliffe farting corpse movie, and it's wide so YOU can see it too! Then, with David and Katey gone, Patches and Da7e can finally talk Hearthstone. It's all wrapped up by a discussion about how this year's summer movie season isn't making anyone excited. | 7/1/16 | ![]() 125 – Movies We Want To Show (Our) Children | It's our fifth Quell as Fighting in The War Room, and one of us is super pregnant. With Katey Rich's due date passed, each host picks a movie that they would pass on to the next generation, even if that generation isn't biologically theirs. We go in the order of "most likely to have children in wedlock" starting with pregnant Katey and The Music Man, moving to Matt Patches and Searching For Bobby Fischer, then to David Ehrlich for The World of Tomorrow and finally for Da7e who chose Kung Fu Panda. Some news items have Patches wondering if documentaries or even virtual reality provides the same connection to the other things in the world while Da7e “well, actually”s the premise. Before all that, Katey saw Now You See Me 2 and liked it which really pisses of David. Thank you for letting us know, you can stop now. This week, Katey, Patches, Da7e and David are here to debate bad decisions. First, Patches and David saw Adam Sandler’s second Netflix movie The Do-Over with David Spade and…ugh. Our comments and Twitters felt the force of Civil War fans who felt David and Patches went too hard on the film, so this week as a way of using that to further discussion, David talks about Radiohead’s new album Moon Shaped Pool helped him understand Marvel fandom, then Katey and Da7e get a whole segment to respond to Friday’s review and the comments left on FightingInTheWarRoom.com.
