Podcast: Growing up in Canada's Little Russia

About this episode
The episode explores the author's childhood experience moving to a small community in Canada known as Little Russia.
As a kid my family made the move from Prince George to Grand Forks in British Columbia, Canada. Normally, a move to any small community would be a shock to a 13 yr old. But this move was particularly jarring for me. We were moving to Canada's little Russian with a history of war and peace set against a beautiful valley where two rivers meet. The 4-5 years I spent there before moving on to the Okanagan would change my life forever. This is a free preview of a paid episode. To hear more, visit foodietown.substack.com
