| 3/18/24 | ![]() Sitting Down With Ed Zaydelman. The Family Dinner. | Getting Out Of The Way with Daniel Reznik | A Psychedelic Integration Podcast On this episode Daniel Reznik sits down with Ed Zaydelman, a wellness retreat advisor, to discuss using the various tools we pick up along our path which help us navigate life’s moments -- and family dinners! Ed shares some of his personal story and highlights his past; when NYC party-life no longer provided meaning, Ed cut the cord and left NYC to find a higher expression of himself in Costa Rica. Working hard to set up a life there with the tools he used from his time in New York, Ed felt that he had to learn how to let go again and start over for a third time. This time he journeyed into the plant medicine world to find real truth and new tools for a new life. Ed currently helps people find, design, and build wellness retreats in Costa Rica as a meaningful way of giving back and sharing the gifts that were imparted on him through his journey into personal growth and wellbeing. Daniel and Ed discuss healing the “wounded child” who felt like he was not good enough and the “fraudulent adult” who is loved by others but still feels alone. Through their conversation they highlight that transformation is our birthright, and that there are many tools to get us into the here-and-now where transformation is active and never ceasing. They also address plant medicine as a tool which is best used alongside other complimentary healing modalities like meditation, breathwork, exercising, etc., to reveal that we are our own healer. Another take-away from this podcast is the power of healing through community, which Ed brings up through his ongoing work with his community at Leap Forward (https://leapforward.us/). “If you think you’re enlightened, go spend a week with your family” – Ram Dass Subscribe to Ed's newsletter at https://www.livethepossibility.co/ _______________________ Thank you for Supporting This Podcast https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/gettingoutoftheway/support _______________________ For booking inquiries email: Tag@DanielReznik.com Subscribe Here: https://www.youtube.com/@GettingOutOfTheWay ______________________ Listen to the Getting Out Of The Way Podcast On: Apple Podcast https://apple.co/3ZtjTSa Spotify http://bit.ly/3wxhwkR ______________________ Follow us on Social Media: Instagram http://bit.ly/3ZQr8Vt Facebook http://bit.ly/3y7isNA ______________________ Produced By Jenny Reznik ______________________ Chapters: Start - 00:00 | — | ||||||

| 1/10/24 | ![]() Spiritual Gravity: Bringing Light to the Darkness | Getting Out Of The Way with Daniel Reznik | A Psychedelic Integration Podcast In this episode titled "Spiritual Gravity: Bringing Light to the Darkness of our Traumas" Daniel emphasizes the importance of addressing and integrating emotional traumas rather than suppressing them and allowing them turn into monsters of our own making. Using the metaphor of spiritual gravity, Daniel suggests that holding onto physical, psychological, emotional, and/or spiritual baggage is like holding onto a physical object, making it harder for it to be released. Only when we stop gripping does nature run its course in removing said “object”. Daniel encourages letting go by loosening the mind’s grip using breath as a tool and trusting the universe to do it’s job in bringing up and transforming the traumas into valuable lessons which promote personal growth and ultimately, complete transformation. The core message is that facing discomfort and past traumas is essential for healing and compassionate self-care. By allowing any inner repressions (darkness) to rise up to our conscious mind (light) we reveal what is inside the container; Self-love and healing. _______________________ Thank you for Supporting This Podcast https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/gettingoutoftheway/support _______________________ For booking inquiries email: Tag@DanielReznik.com Subscribe Here: https://www.youtube.com/@GettingOutOfTheWay ______________________ Listen to the Getting Out Of The Way Podcast On: Apple Podcast https://apple.co/3ZtjTSa Spotify http://bit.ly/3wxhwkR ______________________ Follow us on Social Media: Instagram http://bit.ly/3ZQr8Vt Facebook http://bit.ly/3y7isNA ______________________ Produced By Jenny Reznik Chapters: Start - 00:00 5:00 - Resist and It will persist 10:00 - Breath & Create Space 12:00 - The heart is designed to 18:00 - Spiritual gravity pulls upward | — | ||||||
| 11/9/23 | ![]() Intergalactic Tourism: Grounding After Ceremony | Getting Out Of The Way with Daniel Reznik | A Psychedelic Integration Podcast In this episode of Getting Out Of The Way we discuss the practical considerations that arise when engaging in "intergalactic tourism" and the importance of grounding, closing ceremonies, and recognizing one's own sickness before attempting to heal. Every time a person comes back from such “travels”, the word "human" takes on a very different meaning, requiring integration when back in default mode. This integration is necessary in order to address responsibilities and practical matters, as well as to prevent us from getting overwhelmed and disoriented, but it can be challenging as the experience exposes us to a vast and complex realm beyond our previous understanding. Our guest speaker also acknowledges the challenges of confronting existential questions that arise when facing the oneness of all things, and concludes by suggesting that culturally grounded practices and tools may be essential for a successful integration process. _______________________ Thank you for Supporting This Podcast https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/gettingoutoftheway/support _______________________ For booking inquiries email: Tag@DanielReznik.com Subscribe Here: https://www.youtube.com/@GettingOutOfTheWay ______________________ Listen to the Getting Out Of The Way Podcast On: Apple Podcast https://apple.co/3ZtjTSa Spotify http://bit.ly/3wxhwkR ______________________ Follow us on Social Media: Instagram http://bit.ly/3ZQr8Vt Facebook http://bit.ly/3y7isNA ______________________ Produced By Jenny Reznik ______________________ Chapters: Start - 00:00 6:00 - Grounding post ceremony 7:35 - Duh the tree is alive 13:00 - Entanglement of energies 14:00- Beyond the 5 senses 17:00 - Western Illness | — | ||||||

| 8/3/23 | ![]() Multidimensional Common Sense. Ceremonial Tools : Part 1 | In this episode of Getting Out Of The Way with Daniel Reznik, the guest speaker shares their personal journey into the world of plant medicine and spirituality. They discuss how their prior Western education in philosophy hindered their understanding of spirituality, and how they found their true path through experiences with plant medicine. Daniel’s guest reflects on the limitations of academic learning and the need to unlearn conditioned beliefs in order to embrace multidimensional realities. He also emphasizes the importance of ceremonial tools and structures in preventing interference from the conditioned mind, and cautions against the fascination with medicines without equal interest in the tools and ceremonies themselves. They discuss the concept of entanglement in ceremonial spaces and the need for protocols to prevent the absorption of others' energy or experiences. They use the analogy of a dog whistle to explain how the use of medicine in these spaces expands our senses and energy, resulting in a need for protocols to prevent entanglement with others. The speaker emphasizes the need to know where one person ends and another begins and highlights the concept of "multi-dimensional Common Sense" which is not ingrained in Western culture. Lastly, they stress the importance of caution and research when entering this space to avoid potentially dangerous side effects and unintended consequences. _______________________ Thank you for Supporting This Podcast https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/gettingoutoftheway/support _______________________ For booking inquiries email: Tag@DanielReznik.com Subscribe Here: https://www.youtube.com/@GettingOutOfTheWay ______________________ Listen to the Getting Out Of The Way Podcast On: Apple Podcast https://apple.co/3ZtjTSa Spotify http://bit.ly/3wxhwkR ______________________ Follow us on Social Media: Instagram http://bit.ly/3ZQr8Vt Facebook http://bit.ly/3y7isNA ______________________ Produced By Jenny Reznik ______________________ | — | ||||||

| 6/18/23 | ![]() Gift After 5 Hours. Enjoying The Life I Built. | Getting Out Of The Way with Daniel Reznik | A Psychedelic Integration Podcast Daniel’s guest speaker in this video discusses how her journey into the psychedelic space began when she was feeling unfulfilled in her life, despite having built it with meaning. Her first journey was challenging but led to a realization and release of past trauma, as well as the gift of no longer over-relying on alcohol. Daniel and his guest also reflect on previous journeys and discuss how at times the experience can be followed by a period of darkness. However, after integration it is possible to see that everything in life, even the tough moments, are designed to teach us and help us heal. Maybe it’s just a matter of perspective, whether we are willing to integrate and appreciate the lessons life has to offer? By being aware and present in this ever-present moment, we can transform any challenging experience into a learning opportunity and remember that everything is going to pass.
| 6/2/23 | ![]() Existing Not Living, Getting Through The Stuck-ness of Life | Getting Out Of The Way with Daniel Reznik | A Psychedelic Integration Podcast Psychedelics can be a powerful tool, but they are not magic. This video discusses various topics related to personal growth and spirituality based on psychedelic experiences and life lessons. Daniel and his guest talk about recognizing oneself as a vessel of light and the importance of sharing that light with others by holding space with them. They also discuss their personal experiences with Ayahuasca and Psilocybin and the power of gaining wisdom and perspective from difficult life experiences. They also emphasize the importance of addressing our challenges as opportunities for growth in order to shape ourselves into who we aim to be and not who we used to be. And in doing so, building walls around our hearts is seen as an unnecessary form of self-defense. Instead, embracing our unique stories and following our hearts authentically can better help us along our journey. Also in this episode of Getting Out Of The Way, Daniel and his guest talk about how important it is to be able to learn how to be comfortable in uncomfortable situations. His guest also mentions the idea of writing a book about her life, but also realizes that she may not need to write a book, instead she may just need to share her story and open up to others. They emphasize the importance of integration and how it was a profound tool to help them change their lives. The guest speaker also touches on the idea of healing and how we should not view it as a finite moment, but rather a process that we go through. They both remind us to be present and accept where we are at in life — in the moment — rather than seeking some other moment or condition which doesn’t exist. _______________________ Thank you For Supporting The Podcast https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/gettingoutoftheway/support _______________________ For booking inquiries email: Tag@DanielReznik.com Subscribe Here: https://www.youtube.com/@GettingOutOfTheWay ______________________ Listen to the Getting Out Of The Way Podcast On: Apple Podcast https://apple.co/3ZtjTSa Spotify http://bit.ly/3wxhwkR ______________________ Follow us on Social Media: Instagram http://bit.ly/3ZQr8Vt Facebook http://bit.ly/3y7isNA ______________________ Produced By Jenny Reznik ______________________ Chapters: 0:00 - Start 1:10 - Stuck-ness In Life 5:00 - Letting The Light Out 9:30 - Judging With Kindness 15:20 - Holding Space https://spotifyanchor-web.app.link/e/U3rnD2zAUzb 17:45 - Note For Trip Sitters / Guides 22:20 - G-d Enjoying Life 26:00 - Viewing Traumas Post Psychedelics 32:00 - Psychedelics. | 5/17/23 | ![]() Couples Journey with Eli Nash from @InSearchOfMore | Getting Out Of The Way with Daniel Reznik | A Psychedelic Integration Podcast @InSearchOfMore In this YouTube video, Daniel Reznik and Eli Nash discuss a recent journey Eli had with psychedelics and how it relates to his relationship with his wife. Eli talks about the challenges of bridging the gap between who he and his wife are in the psychedelic space and who they are in default-mode. Daniel and Eli talk about trusting the process of this self-awareness journey and allowing it to unfold on an individual level before getting to know our partners all over again, on a deeper, spiritual level. The conversation emphasizes the importance of allowing our partner the freedom and space to explore their own individual process within the dynamic setting of the partnership without imposing personal desires onto them, while still committing to doing our own work to make for a better overall relationship. Daniel talks about the concept of unconditional love, letting go of baggage, and exploring the true essence of oneSelf. He believes that true holy matrimony exists on a soul level, where both parties shed the separateness of dualism and meet on the soul level within the oneness of G-d. They also discuss the symbolism of the double helix of DNA and the infinity symbol, and how these symbols relate to the journey of marriage and self-discovery while explaining that there is not a finite destination to reach as a couple, but instead a constant working cooperation between two separate partners coming together for one dance. Ultimately, every day should be an opportunity for couples to say "I do" all over again, rather than feeling trapped or forced into union. _______________________ Support The Podcast https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/gettingoutoftheway/support _______________________ For booking inquiries email: Tag@DanielReznik.com Subscribe Here: https://www.youtube.com/@GettingOutOfTheWay ______________________ Listen to the Getting Out Of The Way Podcast On: Apple Podcast https://apple.co/3ZtjTSa Spotify http://bit.ly/3wxhwkR ______________________ Follow us on Social Media: Instagram http://bit.ly/3ZQr8Vt Facebook http://bit.ly/3y7isNA ______________________ Produced By Jenny Reznik ______________________ Chapters: 0:00 - Start 0:30 - @InSearchOfMore 8:00 - Sense Perception 9:18 - I Do ! | 5/4/23 | ![]() Seeing The Tree Of Life | An Ayahuasca Integration | Getting Out Of The Way with Daniel Reznik | A Psychedelic Integration Podcast Daniel speaks with a guest in this podcast episode who shares their experiences with Ayahuasca and how it transformed their perspective on spirituality and reality. Daniel’s guest discusses their initial resistance to the intense effects of the medicine and describes how he eventually surrendered and gained new insights. The speaker recounts encountering the spirits of deceased family members and reflecting on the nature of diseases like cancer and Alzheimer's. Together they explore concepts like time and place being a fabrication — citing Kabbalist philosophy — and the battle between one’s soul and ego. Daniel emphasizes the importance of allowing our higher Self to work requires getting our limited self (the ego) out of the way. In a later section of the integration Daniel’s guest speaker talks about how taking Ayahuasca was like eating from the Tree of Life, which opened his eye and allowed him to see things that he wasn’t able to see before. He also reflects on how his study of spirituality had been confirmed during the experience, stating that he had to cut through the "crap" to understand the truth of the teachings. Our guest also further describes his vivid experience with Ayahuasca as an intense and transformative process of removing things that were harbored inside him through contractions and purging. _______________________ Support The Podcast https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/gettingoutoftheway/support _______________________ For booking inquiries email: Tag@DanielReznik.com Subscribe Here: https://www.youtube.com/@GettingOutOfTheWay ______________________ Listen to the Getting Out Of The Way Podcast On: Apple Podcast https://apple.co/3ZtjTSa Spotify http://bit.ly/3wxhwkR ______________________ Follow us on Social Media: Instagram http://bit.ly/3ZQr8Vt Facebook http://bit.ly/3y7isNA ______________________ Produced by Jenny Reznik ______________________ Chapters: 0:00 - Start 2:35 - Letting go of Exceptions 5:20 - Control Freak 6:30 - Growing up in Religious Household 9:45 - Seeing People Who Passed 10:00 - Diseases brought on by our actions 12:30 - Hours and Hours of Therapy 14:40 - Tree of Life 16:40 - Kabbalistic 23:00 - "Fear, Shame & Greed" Night Two of Ayahuasca 26:30 - First Meditation 30:00 - Ego Death "Comparison Is The Thief Of Joy" | — | ||||||

| 4/16/23 | ![]() Trigger Warning | Dealing With Being Triggered | Getting Out Of The Way with Daniel Reznik | A Psychedelic Integration Podcast In the video "Trigger Warning," Daniel discusses how people tend to displace their inner repression of self to the external world as a mechanism to see themselves with greater clarity. What happens when we trigger an empty pistol? Nothing, because it is empty. What happens when we trigger a loaded pistol? It fires and does damage. The issue is not the trigger, the issue is the loaded gun. If we remove the ammunition then triggering the pistol is of no consequence. This is a parallel to our day-to-day life. He presents an idea where instead of looking inward to deal with our emotions we tend to accumulate them. In-turn, these repressed emotions and traumas are under pressure (turned into ammunition). Then, when we are inevitably triggered by almost anything in the external world, we fire and cause damage within ourselves and externally. He argues that being triggered may be a healthy occurrence because it helps to show us where the true problem lies — within ourselves — allowing us to unload our ‘stuff’ in a healthier and preemptive way. He also shares that being preoccupied with external factors hinders us from being our authentic selves because we are forced to manage our thoughts, words, and actions for fear of offending someone when we really have little control over how the external world behaves in most circumstances. Daniel feels that using words with proper intention and being accountable for one's own words can create clarity and avoid spreading negative vibes. He stresses the importance of using our words with proper intention, passing them through the three gates of speech: is it true, is it necessary, is it kind? By doing so, individuals can limit creating more confusion in the world and foster clarity and positivity in life for ourselves and others. _______________________ Support The Podcast https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/gettingoutoftheway/support _______________________ For booking inquiries email: Tag@DanielReznik.com Subscribe Here: https://www.youtube.com/@GettingOutOfTheWay ______________________ ______________________ Produced by Jenny Reznik ______________________ Listen to the Getting Out Of The Way Podcast On: Apple Podcast https://apple.co/3ZtjTSa Spotify http://bit.ly/3wxhwkR ______________________ Follow us on Social Media: Instagram http://bit.ly/3ZQr8Vt Facebook http://bit.ly/3y7isNA Chapters: 0:00 - Start 6:30 - 3 Gates Of Speech | — | ||||||
| 4/5/23 | ![]() Life Lesson Not Life Sentence | | Getting Out Of The Way with Daniel Reznik | A Psychedelic Integration Podcast In this episode titled "Life Lesson Not Life Sentence," Daniel emphasizes the importance of letting go of emotional baggage and experiences that we're not supposed to hold onto because a big problem with modern society is that people hoard everything, and the solution is learning to let everything go by accepting the temporary nature life. This includes accepting and releasing discomfort as well as going through difficult conversations, so that they too can pass. Daniel also discusses how doctors and healers in certain cultures unravel a patient's symptoms to find out what psychological or physical issues they are holding onto so as to not only treat people on a symptomatic level but on a causal level which is related to the Ayurvedic model of the six stages of disease. | 3/30/23 | ![]() Arc Of The Experience | Therapeutic Psychedelic Session | | Getting Out Of The Way with Daniel Reznik | A Psychedelic Integration Podcast This episode explores the typical 5-hour timeline of a psilocybin experience. Daniel discusses the different stages of a therapeutic psilocybin session, including the initial preparation, the onset of psychoactivity, the peak experience, possible after-effects or discomfort, and the post-session integration phase. By preparing beforehand and demystifying the experience through education on the subject, and reinforcing intention and breathing practices, individuals can feel more comfortable and centered in order to allow for the experience to properly occur without any unnecessary friction or discomfort. The experience itself can often be fast-moving and abstract at first, often with deep personal insights, but eventually dissipates. It is important to try and not make sense of the experience during the process itself and to just let it all unfold. After the experience, it is important to allow it to settle down for approximately 24 hours before trying to analyze, discuss, or integrate it. It is critical to have a proper setting, a meaningful intention and to breathe deeply throughout the journey while remembering that everything — the challenging moments and the beautiful ones — will pass. _______________________ For booking inquiries email: Tag@DanielReznik.com Subscribe Here: https://www.youtube.com/@GettingOutOfTheWay ______________________ Listen to the Getting Out Of The Way Podcast On: Apple Podcast https://apple.co/3ZtjTSa Spotify http://bit.ly/3wxhwkR ______________________ Follow us on Social Media: Instagram http://bit.ly/3ZQr8Vt Facebook http://bit.ly/3y7isNA | — | ||||||
