Is the Federal Reserve secretly freaking about about Trump’s tariffs? The Federal Reserve has been quietly observing the economic landscape, and some experts believe they’re secretly freaking out about the impact of tariffs on the US economy. But you wouldn’t know if you were to closely study Fed Chairman Jerome Powell. Another example of Trump’s flip-flopping began on Friday when he said he was open to lowering the tariffs he placed on China. This weekend, US and Chinese officials met in Switzerland. And lo and behold, there is news. It’s not great, but it’s a step in the right direction. According to the BBC, Global stocks are up after China and the U.S. agreed to slash tariffs by 115 per cent. The deal is temporary, and the U.S. Tariff of 30 percent is still HIGH. This is from the BBC ”After months of tit-for-tat tariff measures, the US and China have announced a major reduction in levies against each other, albeit temporarily. It marks a de-escalation of the ongoing trade war between the two countries. Here’s what we’ve learned so far today: Both sides are set to slash tariffs by 115% - with US tariffs on Chinese products falling to 30% and China’s reciprocal tariffs on the US falling to 10% The changes will take effect on Wednesday and continue for 90 days - allowing time for both sides to ease tensions through negotiations. Donald Trump was embarrassingly Insufferable today when meeting with the newest leader of our former closest ally, Canada. The U.S. President has repeatedly threatened to make our Neighbor to the north our 51st State. And Canadians are appalled and disgusted by that threat. Today, newly elected Prime Minister Mark Carney clearly declared, ”Some things are not for Sale, Canada is not for Sale. Ever.” And the bully president replied, ”Never say never.” President Trump and Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney spoke to reporters as they met in the Oval Office to discuss U.S.-Canada trade and military relations, and the prime minister’s first trip out of the country since becoming Canada’s top legislator. Mr. Carney reiterated his earlier stance that Canada was ”not for sale,” despite President Trump’s reiteration of his desire for the nation to become the 51st state. The two talked about the ongoing dispute on tariffs, specifically those levied on automakers and suppliers who work on both sides -- and across -- the border. So why does Carney tolerate Trump? Because it’s his job and he is a diplomat and a gentleman. And He is doing it for the good of his country. Lucky Canada.

Breaking News - The White Constitutional Crisis ERUPTS! During an Oval Office meeting with Salvadoran President Nayib Bukele, President Donald Trump and members of his administration argued they were not required to return deported Salvadoran citizen Kilmar Abrego Garcia to the United States, despite the Supreme Court ruling in favor of facilitating his return. Trump and members of his administration openly DEFIED THE SUPREME COURT RULING. Trump called on members of his cabinet to explain why they were violating the Constitution. And Bondi, Rubio, and Miller all lied. President Bukele said he was not authorized to return Mr. Garcia, who was legally present in the U.S. before being deported in March. The Trump administration alleged that he was a member of the MS-13 gang, but it previously admitted that the deportation was the result of a clerical error. Clearly, all Trump needs to do is request Garcia’s return, and it would be done. Because we are paying El Salvador $6 million to keep these prisoners in one of the worst prisons in the world. And finally, Trump said again he would send Americans to that prison, another violation of civil rights

WHAT IS IN THE MAGA BUDGET? As expected, there are Trillions in tax cuts for the wealthy, and to pay for those cuts, there will be cuts in dozens of social programs. Including medical cuts, food programs for the poor, and many other benefits for working Americans. In the early morning hours, when hardly anyone was watching, except me, of course, the Senate approved another MAGA BUDGET OUTLINE. With a 51 to 48 vote with all Democrats and two Republicans voting no, Republicans tried to unlock a unique legislative process to pass Donald Trump’s Agenda. The House is expected to vote on the package this week. The main goal of this plan is to set the table for Republicans to extend the expiring provisions of the 2017 Trump tax cuts. Without action this year, Americans would see a $4.5 trillion tax increase starting in 2026. ”We are determined to make tax relief permanent for working families,” said Senate GOP Leader John Thune. That statement is not entirely correct. The tax cuts are overwhelming favorable to big business and higher income Americans. Meanwhile, Democrats tested out their future arguments on the GOP’s budget reconciliation package, which cannot be stopped by a Senate filibuster. ”I will never support a bill that uses Medicare, Medicaid or SNAP cuts to pay for tax cuts for billionaires,” added Sen. John Fetterman (D-PA). Two Republican Senators voted against the budget outline: Sen. Rand Paul (R-KY) and Sen. Susan Collins (R-ME). Sen. Patty Murray (D-WA) missed the final vote, which finished up around 2:30 am. Just one reminder - there are no details in this budget resolution. This sets the parameters of how much in tax cuts, how much in spending cuts, and how much in extra spending can be approved by Congress through the budget reconciliation process. These are some of the highlights: o Over $5 trillion in new tax cuts. o $14 trillion in new deficits over 10 years. o Debt goes from $36 trillion to over $50 trillion. o Pentagon spending tops $1 trillion in 2032. o Increases the debt limit by $5 trillion. o $150 billion extra for defense spending. o $175 billion for immigration enforcement. The powerful CEO of Fiserv was grilled on Capitol Hill on Tuesday during his Confirmation Hearing. Donald Trump has nominated Bisignano to be Social Security Commissioner. Why would a man who makes almost $5 million a year want this thankless Job? During his opening statement today, he tried to answer that question. He spoke about his grandparents, who were immigrants, and his father, a federal worker who served in World War II. His dad’s work ethic. Frank Bisignano is a man who respects Federal Workers. A Billionaire who wants to give back. And possibly SAVE Social Security. After studying his resume, he might be capable of doing it. IF HE CAN SURVIVE THE POLITICS.

The most dramatic moment of the evening occurred near the beginning of Trump’s rambling, Congressional Address. Congressman Al Green, a democrat from Texas, screamed. ”You have no mandate to cut Medicaid!” Trump was beginning his flurry of lies, half-truths, ridiculous exaggerations when Green, clutching his cane, had had enough. Eventually, the worst Speaker in History, ordered Capitol Police to haul Congressman away. Green told reporters outside the House Chamber that he could not sit silently by as Republicans attempt to cut Medicaid, Medicare, and SOCIAL SECURITY! Yup. Even though Trump has said he has no plans to cut these programs, Congressional Republicans are drafting the legislation right now, and Trump has not repeated his promise not to touch Social Security. Instead he repeated the MUSK LIES. Trump, Musk, and MAGA Mike Johnson have all claimed that Social Security is filled with graft and corruption and that 200-year-olds are getting checks.
