About this episode
Julia discusses the importance of trusting in God's grace rather than striving for approval through efforts, using Abraham's faith as an example.
Are we trying to earn what can’t be earned, rather than trusting in God's grace? Julia shows that just as Abraham trusted God against all odds, we cannot earn God’s approval through effort or good deeds; it is a gift that comes freely, complete and spotless. She reminds us that faith means looking beyond our circumstances, even when hope seems lost, and trusting in a power greater than ourselves to bring life from what seems impossible. This challenges us to stop striving for approval we already have and to live with confidence in the promises that have been fulfilled for us.
