To take up your cross means letting go of control, laying down your desires, and choosing Jesus over yourself—again and again, every day. It’s not about losing your life for no reason, but about finding true life in Him. Jesus makes it clear: you can spend your life trying to protect yourself and still lose what matters most. But when you surrender your life to Him, you don’t lose—you gain everything that truly lasts. The question is not just whether you believe in Jesus— but whether you are willing to follow Him at any cost.
