What was it like to be the woman who became pregnant with God's Son? For thirty years she has kept the secret. Imagine that you're Mary- you remember the angels, the prophecies, the shepherds, the magi. Pastor Mike Patz brings a timely word, Loose Your Grip, from John chapter 2. Jesus has now begun to bring His teachings, and here is the first miracle, at the wedding of Cana. A wedding was a time of celebration and communal joy, and what brought the joy was the wine. Running out of wine would have been the greatest catastrophe! Have you ever been waiting for a promise to come to pass? Mary had! She says, "Son, do something!" Since Jesus only does what He sees the Father doing, His answer of "not yet..." was not what she wanted to hear. Mary must surrender to the timing. Waiting patiently on the Lord will often wreck your timeline. But the joy we crave is only found on the other side of surrender. Jesus will surprise you with joy!

Our Make Room series concludes as Pastor Oscar Roche reminds us that loving God begins with God. In Matthew 22:34-40, Jesus is asked, "What is the greatest commandment of the Law?" We need love and the Word of God. Passion for God is fueled by a relationship with God. Our 'being' must always come before our 'doing'.

Our Who We Are series continues as Pastor Mike Patz opens up Ephesians 2:4-9. God is rich in mercy, and His great love for us has made us alive by grace. If there's anything our world needs, it is for God's people to live in the grace He has given. You will not be changed by grace until you are amazed by grace. Amaze us day by day by day!

The Movement series continues as Byron Williams asks, "What does it look like when people say 'yes'?" In Acts 6:1-7 we see the church coming alive but also reaching a crisis point in ministry. We all want to hear "well done, good and faithful servant," but are we willing to serve?  When God's people decide to serve the movement happens!

Breaking Bread, a relationship series, continues with Ephesians 6:4. Mike Patz explains that this verse refers to the relationship between fathers to their children, but the principles encompass all parts of our personal lives. God's plan has always been that parents are a safe place for children, and this is the same for anyone we have influence over. Take them by the hand and lead like God does.

The cross and crucifixion was the ultimate spectacle of the Roman world. Mike Patz shares the hope and peace that can now be ours because of the finished work of Jesus on the cross on that first Easter. Because he is the head over every power and authority, everything Jesus gets his hands on comes alive. Even in the cross death is reversed! The Great Awakening series continues with the warning that we humans have a power problem. Our kingdom is not the same as God's Kingdom! We need power, but it must be Holy Power. May God's Kingdom come, and His will be done, in us here on earth as it is in heaven.
