| 5/25/26 | ![]() VIC GUN BUYBACK EXPOSED: $886M for a 1 Percent Return | In this episode, we break down a new economic report that reveals the proposed Victorian gun buyback scheme will return less than one cent in benefits for every dollar spent. We examine the cost-benefit analysis commissioned by Shooters Union Australia that shows taxpayers will spend $886 million for a benefit-to-cost ratio of just 0.28 to 0.34. The report found no statistical evidence that reducing legally owned firearms prevents mass shootings or reduces firearm homicides. It will impact over 200,000 licensed shooters who will lose their firearms, the $120 million in lost business activity affecting gun shops and related businesses, and the $137 million in administrative costs. We also look at what the 1996 Port Arthur buyback data actually shows and why this policy will remove firearms from legal owners while doing nothing to address illegal firearms smuggled through Australian ports. With Victoria's election in November, we believe taxpayers deserve to know what they're getting for their money. #GunNewsAustralia #VictorianElection #GunBuyback #CostBenefitAnalysis #FirearmPolicy #AustralianPolitics #ShootersUnion #VictorianGunLaws | 11m 21s | ||||||
| 5/22/26 | ![]() THREE ELECTIONS - THREE GREAT RESULTS: What One Nation’s ascent means for shooters | WE LOOK AT what the seismic emergence of One Nation after recent elections means for firearm owners across the country. One Nation's stunning performance in the South Australian state election saw them capture 24.4% of the vote and four lower house seats, dramatically outpolling the Liberals. They also captured three upper house seats. This momentum continued through the Nepean by-election, where they gained 24.5% of the vote, and their decisive victory in Farrer with 57.5% of the vote on a two-party-preferred basis. The trend is unmistakable. These three results point to the collapse of the Liberal Party’s place as the alternative government, and the retreat of far-left parties like the Greens and Animal Justice Party. With Victoria's upcoming November state election, this trend looks set to continue, which can only be good for shooters. We also examine critical issues including political trust, preference deals, the detrimental impact that firearm policy uncertainty has for dealers and shooters, and why engagement with local MPs matters now more than ever. | 5/16/26 | ![]() THE CLASSIC ANTI-GUN TRAP: Why the Bondi Royal Commission must not recommend the NFA be ‘updated’ | THE BONDI ROYAL COMMISSION’S interim report recommends the National Firearms Agreement be ‘updated’, but we're calling for that idea to be dropped. In this episode of #GunNewsAustralia, we break down our submission to the Commission explaining why updating the NFA without examining its current flaws would be a step backwards. We expose how Western Australia doesn't even comply with the existing NFA. There are no permits to acquire (instead a clumsy and expensive system of licensing not just the user, but each firearm), and no interstate mutual recognition of licenses. Yet it wants to spread its restrictive laws nationwide! Our submission highlights critical issues: arbitrary appearance laws that ban firearms based on looks rather than function; junior license restrictions that harm international shooting sports development; and the clause allowing states to treat the NFA as "minimum standards" – such as the latest push to bring in caps on the number of firearms owned. We're demanding five key reforms. They are a full NFA review with shooting community input, scrapping appearance laws, fixing junior license age restrictions (lowering to 11 for use, not ownership), requiring all states to actually comply with the agreement, and removing the ‘minimum standard’ loophole that turns this into a "National Firearms Disagreement." | 5/15/26 | ![]() NCAT CHALLENGE STARTS: We take the NSW Police on – while SSAA & SIFA run for cover | WE’VE JUST HELD our first NCAT hearing to force NSW Police to hand over documents from the national roundtable of firearm registries. They will reveal what new laws our registries and policy bureaucrats are secretly planning. To fight this, the police have hired an expensive partner from a major law firm (costing thousands of dollars per day) instead of using their internal lawyers. This is unprecedented at such an early stage in a tribunal matter. The tribunal has ordered full written submissions by mid-year, with the main hearing scheduled for August. Viewers will remember we’re backed by the NSW Information and Privacy Commissioner’s report, which shows that the police’s reason for withholding documents does not stack up – so we're fighting to expose what's being cooked up for us behind closed doors. But here's the disappointing part: both SSAA and SIFA were approached to support this critical fight. Both walked away from the fight (for no reason), letting every shooter down. This matter affects every shooter in Australia - because we need to expose what new laws our registries have in mind. We need your continued support for the long legal battle ahead, potentially going to the Supreme Court. 💰 SUPPORT THE FIGHT: You can donate to the fundraiser at GoFundMe: https://www.gofundme.com/f/filed-at-ncat-were-fighting-nsw-police-over-gun-policy Or donate via PayPal: https://www.paypal.com/donate/?hosted_button_id=H8M2TBTFB7L62 -------------------------------------------------------------- JOIN US ON PATREON Join our Patreon channel and get our episodes before they are released more widely at: https://www.patreon.com/c/PoliticsReloaded/membership -------------------------------------------------------------- #PoliticsReloaded #NCATHearing #NSWPolice #FirearmRights #GunNewsAustralia #AustralianShooters #FirearmLaw #ShootingCommunity | 8m 47s | ||||||
| 5/13/26 | ![]() “IT WAS DESIGNED TO OFFEND SHOOTERS”: Victorian State Budget leaves shooters left high and dry | THE VICTORIAN GOVERNMENT’S recent State Budget told us how much value it places on the shooting sports. Despite iron-clad promises to build world-class shooting facilities after abandoning the 2026 Commonwealth Games, Victoria's shooters received zero funding while other sports flourished. The numbers tell a shocking story. Geelong BMX Club secured $200,000 for 120 members (that's $1,600 per member). Cycling received $12 million, and bike lanes got $7.4 million – for a lot of paint! Meanwhile, the shooting sports didn’t get anything. Not even enough for a car park. This is particularly embarrassing when Brisbane and Sydney boast international-level shooting complexes - yet Victoria, Australia's second-most populous state, continues to lack basic shooting infrastructure. With a $108 billion budget, allocating just 0.1% to support the shooting sports would turn this around. Importantly, it would allow the state to attract major international events, with proven economic benefits. This means the government doesn’t have a revenue problem; it has an expenditure problem. This has been exacerbated by a state government cabinet dominated by the socialist left-wing of the Labor Party which wants to crush the shooting sports. TAKE ACTION: Let Victoria’s State Premier, Jacinta Allan, know that this isn’t good enough. Email her at jacinta.allan@parliament.vic.gov.au and demand that we have proper shooting infrastructure for Victoria. Finally, can you please help us? | 5/10/26 | ![]() NO IDEA ABOUT GUNS: Labor’s dangerously uninformed approach | IN THIS EPISODE, we sit down with Danny Ryan, President of Sporting Clays Victoria, to discuss why politicians remain dangerously uninformed about firearms and the shooting community. This always leads to uninformed policy and bad laws – such as those that came out of the Bondi tragedy. We look at the appalling knowledge gap among politicians who make decisions affecting our sport. From professional politicians who never set foot on a range and have "overinflated views of their own knowledge" to bureaucrats, our current relationship with the government can only be described as hostile. Danny and Neil discuss the urgent need for shooting organisations to unite, the challenges of cutting through anti-gun misinformation from groups like Gun Safety Alliance, and why every shooter must personally contact their MP. THE RECENT STATE BUDGET also comes in for a serve, with the government failing to provide any support for shooters. It stole millions from shooters over the 2026 Commonwealth Games shooting facilities fiasco, which is why we’re going to be providing a dedicated episode on that this coming week. That's because Victoria is now in the grip of a socialist left-wing Labor government that makes no apology for its outrageous raid on support for the shooting sports. PLUS, we’ve got an important update on our NCAT legal action coming up this week. | 5/3/26 | ![]() SHOOTING RANGES: Victoria Labor's Golden Opportunity to Deliver | VICTORIA HAS FALLEN well behind the rest of Australia, lacking even a single shooting facility capable of hosting international-level events. With the Victorian state budget imminent and the November state election looming, now is the time for our major parties to see and capitalise on the political and economic opportunities this presents. WE SPEAK WITH Danny Ryan, President of Sporting Clays Victoria, for a hard-hitting discussion about what's at stake for the state's 250,000 licensed shooters. After the embarrassing cancellation of the 2026 Commonwealth Games, the Victorian government broke its promise to deliver legacy shooting infrastructure—leaving clubs struggling with outdated, volunteer-run facilities, while Brisbane prepares world-class venues for the 2032 Olympics. Danny reveals the shocking disparity in government funding, the economic case for investment (with shooting worth billions to Victoria's economy), and how the pending firearms review by Ken Lay could require infrastructure that doesn't exist. With potential changes to firearm laws requiring compulsory training and range attendance, the infrastructure crisis becomes even more urgent. The message is clear: Contact your local MP now. Take 20 minutes—visit their office, make the call. This is your sport, your future. Finally, can you please help us? | 5/1/26 | ![]() GUN IMPORTATION CHAOS: What our new federal laws mean for shooters | WE INTERVIEW BASTIAN GREEN from Australian Sporting Agencies, who discusses the devastating impact of new federal importation laws on Australia's firearms industry. Without consulting industry stakeholders, the federal government implemented sweeping restrictions following the Bondi incident, effectively throttling the supply chain and threatening the viability of the industry underpinning what we do. Green reveals how importers face revenue losses as orders of suddenly non-compliant firearms become stranded overseas and unfulfillable contracts. Shooters will see price increases of up to $500 per firearm due to bureaucratic double-handling and permit delays of 6-8 weeks. Dealers are caught in limbo — and shooters are bound to feel the full impact of regulatory chaos. We also look at how the federal buyback needs to be conducted if it is to fairly compensate businesses and individuals for these forced losses—which is going to easily top at least $3 billion, while achieving …. nothing. THERE ARE THINGS we can do to reverse this. Getting involved in elections is the best way. We'll cover this in an episode soon . | 4/24/26 | ![]() AIMING FOR RE-ELECTION: Why the AJP’s anti-hunting Georgie Purcell could jump ship to Labor | THE ANIMAL JUSTICE PARTY'S grubby preference deals at the 2022 Victorian state election resulted in the election of their lead candidate, Georgie Purcell, which was an outcome bound to alienate the party at this year’s election. Her election saw the creation of a parliamentary committee that recommended banning duck hunting, which only failed because of the intervention of the Premier’s office. It also saw the scrapping of plans to build major new infrastructure for the shooting sports, which was a major blow to Victorian shooters. Purcell is now shacked up with Labor MP Josh Burns, raising questions about whether she might be looking to continue her parliamentary career on the Labor ticket at this year’s Victorian State Election. Don't forget, Georgie also used to work for the United Workers Union - which has strong links to Labor. Georgie has openly stated she "will not stop until duck shooting is banned," making her intentions clear. Burns has form on firearms too. His response to firearm policy concerns in Albo’s recent change to federal gun laws (mostly at the border), turned out to be a seemingly AI-generated (or partly generated) reply that failed to satisfy us that Burns has taken the concerns of shooters seriously. In fact, Josh is the co-chair of Parliamentary Friends of Firearm Safety, which has links to the Alannah and Madeline Foundation – and which has nothing to do with firearm safety, but rather lobbying on firearm laws. With November's Victorian election approaching, every shooter needs to understand what's at stake and how to protect their sport. Not only is it important to vote for the right party, but you need to direct your own preferences away from parties like the AJP. We’ll show you how to do that as the election approaches later this year. Finally, can you please help us? | 4/17/26 | ![]() SA ELECTION RESULTS: What they mean for shooters nationwide. Plus more on NCAT. | THE RECENT SOUTH AUSTRALIAN ELECTION has sent shockwaves through Australia's political landscape, and shooters need to pay attention. We break down the stunning results – with Labor securing 34 seats while the Liberals collapsed to just 5 with One Nation mopping up 4 seats in the lower house, and 3 in the upper house. This isn't just about South Australia. With Victoria's state election just six months away in November, the stakes have never been higher for the state's 250,000 licensed shooters – and the NSW State Election coming up in the rearview mirror just after. The discussion reveals why Victorian Premier, Jacinta Allan, may be the only thing holding back anti-gun Labor MPs from further attacking what we do, and how fragile that protection is. Meanwhile, NSW Labor's refusal to consult with any shooting organisations is bound to haunt them. They forgot the number 1 rule of gun politics – demonstrated by the NSW Labor Unsworth Government in 1988 - which is that bringing in more gun laws is a GUARANTEED VOTE LOSER. The result – and the “sh*tstorm NSW Labor has created” - also exposes the slow but observable collapse of the National Firearms Agreement, with each state now pursuing wildly different approaches. From Queensland's stable pro-shooting stance to Western Australia's draconian laws, the landscape has never been more divided. Labor governments across Australia don’t seem to have worked that out yet. We also take a deeper look at the ongoing Freedom of Information campaign targeting the secretive Firearms and Weapons Policy Working Group where bureaucrats craft anti-gun policies behind closed doors. The NSW Information and Privacy Commissioner backed our arguments and recommended NSW Police make a new decision – but they gave that idea the middle finger – which is why we appealed to NCAT. If we’re successful, we’re anticipating NSW Police will appeal to the Supreme Court - making this a high-stakes transparency battle that could lift the lid on WHAT EVERY FIREARMS REGISTRY is thinking! The legal action is funded by shooter donations through GoFundMe and PayPal, with generous support from shooters around Australia. | 4/10/26 | ![]() WINNING THE SHOOTERS’ VOTE: What our political parties can do to win an election winning lead. | WE LOOK AT what the One Nation result in South Australia means for Victoria's upcoming state election. We explain how all political parties—Labor, Liberal, and One Nation—can improve their pitch for the shooter's vote. That's over 250,000 votes there for the taking. The surge in One Nation's vote in South Australia isn't a one-off. It's a significant indicator of what we might see in Victoria, and it shows what conservative voters think the Liberal Party has gone too soft. One Nation secured nearly a quarter of the primary vote, mostly from the Liberals, and this funding boost will help them bankroll an even bigger campaign in Victoria. I outline three critical areas that parties need to understand if they want to win shooter support. They are to support hunting as an economic activity, commit to building world-class shooting infrastructure to position Victoria as a sporting centre, and CHANGE THE NARRATIVE whenever it comes public discussions over firearms policy. These are three easy to implement changes, all of which can be justified under the state’s cost-benefits framework. None of these require the parties to touch our gun laws – but will pave the way for those discussions to be had later on. It’s an easy election position to take that will create a massive boost for the parties in their race to win the shooters’ vote without drawing fire from our opponents. | 3/29/26 | ![]() “LANDMARK PRO-GUN LEGAL ACTION”: We launch the first legal action over firearms policy discussions | WE’VE JUST LAUNCHED the first ever legal action to expose what Australia's firearm registries have been secretly planning behind closed doors at the National Firearms and Weapons Policy Working Group. We filed our case with NCAT after the NSW Information and Privacy Commissioner found that NSW Police had no legitimate grounds to refuse us access to these documents under GIPA laws. Despite the IPC's damning report recommending they release the information, NSW Police gave us—and every licensed firearm owner in Australia—the middle finger. Now we're taking them to tribunal. Our first hearing is scheduled for May 7th at 12:30pm, and we're expecting a tough fight. This isn't just about NSW—if we win, we'll expose what all state and territory registries are planning for us: new restrictions, increased costs, reduced appeal rights, and more red tape. We need your support to afford specialist legal representation. Every dollar counts, whether it's $5 or $500. Check out our GoFundMe or PayPal links below. | 3/23/26 | ![]() GUN LIMITS: Tasmanian police commissioner’s push for WA type rules | WE LOOK AT the Tasmania's New Firearms Consultative Committee, which includes a number of anti-shooting groups who have nothing to contribute to firearms policy. We also look at how Tasmania's Police Commissioner, Donna Adams, recently used the media to push her view that there should be gun limits imposed on shooters in Tasmania. She based this on the death of a constable – at the hands of an offender who was not licensed, held firearms that were not registered, and was caught in possession of other prohibited items. The commissioner’s statements raise serious questions about whether she is fit to stay in the job. Police Minister, Felix Ellis, needs to pull her aside and remind her of who sets government policy – and that she should either resign, or fall into line. -------------------------------------------------------------- GET EARLY RELEASE EPISODES! | 3/15/26 | ![]() 'GRANDMA, YOU'RE GOING TO JAIL': The 9 minute TV segment that was illegal to watch | CHANNEL 96 is one of our favourite channels – but even it may have fallen foul of Albo’s new gun laws. The program "How It's Made" recently featured the restoration of an 1886 lever action rifle— covering the making of a stock, engraving of the stock, restoration of the trigger and lever, barrel bluing and engraving of the receiver. The problem is Albo’s new gun laws make this illegal – meaning that both Channel 9 and anyone who watched the program may have broken the law – and risk (at least theoretically) being put away for up to 5 years. | 3/11/26 | ![]() BECOMING THE PRO-SHOOTING FORCE SHOOTERS NEED: Plus, we hear crickets from Texas | IN THIS EPISODE, we look at Kate’s escape to the United States nearly a year ago, without ever starting the legal battle on WA gun laws she promised or explaining where the money has gone. We also look at why Australian shooters desperately need effective political representation —and why so many past attempts have failed. I break down the three main reasons: inexperience, greed, and ego. We've seen well-meaning people enter politics without the necessary background to navigate the system effectively. They get used up by major parties with decades more experience. Real political effectiveness requires 20+ years working in major parties or at the ministerial coalface – but who has that? Sadly, we've seen shooters’ elected representatives cut deals with major parties to keep their taxpayer-funded salaries, giving us duck hunting inquiries and stacked consultative committees in return. In Victoria, a deal even blocked the development of a major ISSF shooting facility. Finally, ego has destroyed effective lobbying efforts, with the most significant one being the collapse of the National Shooting Council in early 2023. That's why we started Politics Reloaded. With thanks to Sean Frazer, we’ve grown Gun News Australia into Australia's only regular pro-shooting political podcast - with over half a million views so far. We also look at a recent FOI victory against NSW Police as proof of what we can done when you have the right people doing the work. Finally, can you please help us? | 3/2/26 | ![]() SA STATE ELECTION & FIREARMS: Liberal Party’s pro-shooting statement | WE SPEAK WITH Nicola Centofanti MLC, the Leader of the Opposition in South Australia’s Upper House, as the state approaches a pivotal election on March 21st. The discussion covers the significant concerns surrounding firearm legislation, particularly in light of recent changes to gun laws in Western Australia and New South Wales and federally – and even SA Labor’s decision to ban bow hunting and try to ban duck hunting by stealth by jacking up hunting fees by 400% Nicola shares her insights on the importance of firearms ownership for regional communities, highlighting her personal experiences with firearms through her work as a veterinarian and her upbringing in rural South Australia. The conversation also delves into the Liberal Party's stance on gun laws, emphasizing their commitment to protecting the rights of shooters – and reversing Labor’s hunting tax. Nicola outlines her party’s plans to ensure that South Australians have a clear choice and voice regarding firearm policies and the future of recreational hunting. Plus, we look at One Nation’s updated firearms policy which has only just been released. We’ll be working through that in the next few days and letting you know what we think – but first impression is that it looks remarkably similar to the Liberal Party statement! Meanwhile, Labor is staying quiet and is non-committal to anything beyond the election. Finally, can you please help us? | 2/22/26 | ![]() “WHY DO YOU NEED MORE THAN 10 ROUNDS?”: The question that should not have been asked | IN THIS EPISODE, we dive into the shocking thought-bubble emerging from Victoria's Firearms Legislation Review—a limit of just 10 rounds per shooter. It was a simple query, but one which points to a much, much deeper problem affecting every licensed shooter. Australian shooters are facing an unprecedented wave of new restrictions across multiple states, from gun limits in NSW to Western Australia's draconian safe storage requirements. With elections looming in South Australia (March 21) and Victoria (November 28), both Labor governments are treading carefully, but the future of what they will do beyond those elections remains uncertain. Former Police Commissioner Ken Lay is leading Victoria's firearms review, but serious concerns have emerged about the expertise that the review team has. During the consultation, the team asked if there should be a limit of ten rounds per shooter. We appreciate that consultation is necessary to fill knowledge gaps, that should only ever be necessary for dealing with minor areas of detail. Instead, this was a question of major importance that was not helpful to have asked. It points to the more fundamental problem facing firearms policy management in Australia. That is because firearms policy advice is often developed by people who do not have the necessary subject matter expertise and industry only gets involved after the initial line of questioning has been developed. We raise this problem in the hope that those responsible for the review get to see why this is the case and instead recommend a significant improvement to the way firearms policy is developed that is based on industry advice – rather than from within government - because it does not address the key problems we face. In other words, we need an entirely new engagement model. NO GOVERNMENT would take that approach for medicine, aviation, road management, bridge design, or other important areas of public policy - so why is it different for firearms? This is why shooters get wound up every time they hear government come up with new policy ideas that do not involve the shooting sector. Finally, can you please help us? | 2/15/26 | ![]() GUN LICENCES EXPLODE: The recent attacks on shooters may have backfired – big time! | IN THIS EPISODE, we examine the unintended consequences of knee-jerk politics by Premier Chris Minns and PM Anthony Albanese's after bringing in new gun firearm legislation. Statistics are now showing firearm licence and permit applications have skyrocketed – in a move that we saw coming, as shooters make sure that family members get licenced to avoid having to surrender firearms. The stats show a welcome trend that is likely to continue well into this year, in a move that we are sure will only toughen the resolve of shooters to stand up against bad policy, and bad government. As one NSW Upper House MP said, Minns’s plan has "completely backfired". Stay tuned for our upcoming episode with some major (and unwelcome) news on Victoria's Firearms Act review! | 2/12/26 | ![]() “REMEMBER THIS IN 13 MONTHS TIME”: Phil Donato's blunt message to NSW shooters | WE SPEAK WITH Phil Donato MP, Independent Member for Orange, to run through NSW's rushed firearms legislation following the December 14 tragedy. Phil reveals the shocking lack of consultation on the laws with MPs, being briefed just hours before Parliament was recalled before Christmas. We discuss the devastating impacts on law-abiding firearms owners: arbitrary caps of 4 firearms for hunters, 10 for farmers and target shooters, removal of independent NCAT oversight, and the insulting bundling of firearms laws with terrorism legislation. Phil received thousands of emails, calls and visits from outraged constituents who've done everything right their entire lives, but are now treated like criminals-in-waiting. This is the biggest threat to Australian firearms owners since 1996. The NSW Government struck while emotions ran hot, implementing policy by media without proper consultation. Phil warns this was a purely political strategy— without any consultation, or consideration of unintended consequences. Our message to NSW shooters is clear: remember this in 13 months at the next state election. Tell your family, friends, and networks about how unfair these laws have been on not only shooters, but the broader community. WE ALSO LOOK AT how the Liberal Party’s decision to back the new laws will end up costing it just as dearly as it will cost Labor – and leaving the door open for One Nation to target both. | 1/18/26 | ![]() OZ GUN HISTORY: Here’s a must-see video on the history of guns in Australia | WE INTERVIEW Malcolm Drinkwater from the History Hill Museum about a DVD set he produced titled "The Long and the Short of Firearms". This is a two part series covering nearly 3.5-hour series of our local firearms history from gunpowder basics through to modern developments. We’re covering it because it’s so good. We’re doing this because we were so impressed with the quality and relevance to the use of firearms at home. We are receiving nothing for this – because that’s not what we’re in this for. Nor were we asked to do this. We’re doing this because we were genuinely impressed by what we saw. While many of us know the broad history of firearms, much of it is learned from overseas resources. However, Malcolm brings it home by examining the impact of firearms, especially through the gold rush era, to modern day. He covers the use of firearms in the bush, specialised saddle designs for light infantry, and how metal was forged. The series dives into the development of the rifle range at Hill End in New South Wales, shows how target shooting sports grew, and documents how successive governments have worked to dismantle them over the years. He covers the evolution of muskets, flintlocks, lever actions, bolt-action rifles, cartridge evolution, and black powder, all with stunning production quality. Malcolm’s knowledge of Aussie history is genuinely impressive and makes the material come alive. This is perfect for shooters – so if your other half needs a birthday hint, then here’s a great idea. It’s also great for parents of teen history buffs – because it means you can “buy it for them” and nick it back off them later when you want to watch it 😉. | 1/15/26 | ![]() BONDI MASSACRE: Texan hero proves how it could have turned out differently | THE SHOCKING Bondi tragedy at a Jewish gathering has ignited fierce debate on Australia's draconian gun laws—but is self-defence a missing piece? In this episode, we dive deep into the argument around self-defence and look at how things could have turned out quite differently if our politicians looked at this logically. Should innocent people like you and me be able to protect ourselves? We draw on history where 71-year-old deputy sheriff Jack Wilson went from parishioner to hero in just 6 seconds after dropping a shotgun-wielding gunman at West Freeway Church of Christ in Texas. There were around 240 people at the church, which means Jack’s brave actions saved many, many other lives. Bondi was different. The entire Jewish gathering were sitting ducks. We’re not making out an argument for this one way or the other, but if PM Anthony Albanese and NSW Premier Minns were serious about finding real solutions, then this is a debate they need to at least be prepared to have. 👍 Like, Subscribe & Share for uncensored takes! | 1/9/26 | ![]() Decorated firefighter of 35 years goes on strike "over government overreach on firearms" | NSW RURAL FIRE SERVICE VOLUNTEER, Robert Warren, a decorated firefighter with 35 years of service, speaks out about NSW's rushed gun law changes and why he's taking a stand. After receiving the Premier's Commendation and National Emergency Medal for the 2019-20 bushfires, Rob explains why he's now on a "quiet strike" from RFS duties—refusing to serve a government that's punishing law-abiding firearms owners for the failures of criminals and agencies. Robert discusses the deeply personal impact of arbitrary firearm limits, including having to give up family heirlooms. He shares his message to fellow RFS volunteers who may be firearm owners: NOW is the time to act. He encourages shooters to contact their local MPs, sign petitions, and support legal challenges like the McDonald Law fundraiser. This isn't just about guns—it's about government overreach, broken promises, and the disrespect shown to rural Australians who've given everything to their communities. The March 2027 NSW state election is coming. Make your voice heard.
