| 9/1/26 | Why Being a Christian Feels Harder Than Ever Before…. I’m Worried | Okay you guys, I have THOUGHTS on this one. 😂 The Christian social media landscape has been feeling a little exhausting lately, and I think we need to talk about it. In this episode, I’m unpacking why Christianity can sometimes feel so complicated online when, in real life, following Jesus is meant to bring freedom, joy, peace, and transformation. Somewhere along the way, I think we’ve started confusing personal convictions with biblical commands, turning faith into a performance, and putting pressure on people to look like the “perfect Christian” before God has even had time to work in their hearts. We’re talking about everything from Christian comment sections and publicly correcting people to comparison, aesthetic quiet times, personal convictions, drinking, spiritual gifts, serving your community, and what Romans 14 actually says about disputable matters. God cares so much more about your heart than your perfectly curated Christian routine. His ways are not burdensome, and following Him was never supposed to be another exhausting performance. Let’s be people who care about truth AND grace, who lovingly point people back to Christ, and who trust the Holy Spirit to do the convicting only He can do. 🤍 Scriptures mentioned Philippians 2:12 Romans 2:4 Matthew 6:33 John 14 1 John 5:1–5 Romans 14 Thanks to Our Sponsors Grand Canyon University: Visit GCU.edu to learn more. | 8/25/26 | Things I Stopped Caring About in My 30s (And You Should Too) | Okay you guys, I’m 32, I’m a mom, and there are officially some things I simply do not care about anymore 😂 In this episode, I’m sharing the things I’ve slowly let go of as I’ve gotten older—from keeping up with every fashion trend and holding onto friendships I’ve outgrown, to having the “perfect” quiet time, knowing every piece of internet drama, and putting crazy pressure on myself with fitness and food. More than anything, I’ve realized how sweet life becomes when you stop living for everyone else’s approval and start slowing down enough to actually enjoy what God has given you. We talk about protecting your peace, choosing friendships that are faithful and life-giving, letting your relationship with Jesus be genuine instead of aesthetic, and embracing a healthier, more sustainable way of living. ‼️Check out my collab with Ponyflo‼️ Visit https: ponyflohats.com and use code JEANINE for 15% off!! | 8/21/26 | Stop Letting Your Emotions Run Your Life | Fruit of The Spirit Series: SELF CONTROL | THE FINAL EPISODE IN OUR FRUIT OF THE SPIRIT SERIES! We made it!! In this episode, we explore self-control as a fruit of the Spirit from Galatians 5:22–23. Self-control isn’t simply about trying harder or suppressing our desires—it’s about allowing the Holy Spirit to shape our thoughts, choices, words, emotions, and actions. We’ll talk about what biblical self-control looks like in everyday life, why it can be difficult, and how walking with the Spirit helps us respond with wisdom instead of being ruled by our impulses. In this episode, we discuss: What Galatians 5:22–23 teaches about self-control The difference between willpower and Spirit-led self-control How self-control impacts our words, emotions, relationships, and decisions Practical ways to grow in self-control Why surrender to God is at the heart of true self-control Key Scripture:“...the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control.” — Galatians 5:22–23 Takeaway:Self-control isn’t about becoming strong enough to handle everything on our own. It’s about becoming surrendered enough to let the Holy Spirit lead us. Hope this helped y'all!! | 8/18/26 | Trusting Your Husband When You Don’t Agree With Him | Ft. My Sister & Brother-in-Law | You guys, this episode is SO special because Kaleb and I are coming to you from Alaska with my sister Vania and brother-in-law Anthony! We finally get the full story of how these two met (including some hilarious old-school Facebook DMs 😂), but more importantly, we dive into the huge leap of faith that brought them all the way to Alaska. We talk about what happens when God asks you to do something that feels uncomfortable, inconvenient, or honestly just CRAZY. Vania shares so vulnerably about not wanting to move, learning to trust Anthony as her husband, praying for God to change her own heart, and eventually finding peace in a decision that initially terrified her. Anthony also shares such a powerful reminder: God doesn't always promise us clarity—but He does ask us to be faithful with what He's put in front of us. This conversation is such an encouragement if you're facing a big decision, navigating marriage when you and your spouse aren't immediately on the same page, wondering where God is leading you, or learning how to trust Him without having the entire plan laid out. Sometimes faithfulness really does look like taking the next step before you can see step ten. 🤍 ‼️Check out my collab with Ponyflo‼️ Visit https: ponyflohats.com and use code JEANINE for 15% off!! | 8/14/26 | Are You Actually a Gentle Person? You Might Be Surprised… | Fruit of the Spirit Series: GENTLENESS | Welcome back to Faith Friday!! We are almost done with this fruit of the Spirit series!!! hope y'all are loving it! In this episode, we explore the fruit of the Spirit: gentleness from Galatians 5:22–23. We’ll talk about what biblical gentleness really means, how Jesus modeled it, and what it looks like in our everyday relationships, conversations, and responses. Gentleness invites us to respond rather than react, to speak truth with love, and to treat others with grace even when emotions run high. It’s a quiet strength that reflects the character of Christ. In this episode, we’ll explore: What biblical gentleness actually means Why gentleness is a fruit of the Holy Spirit How Jesus demonstrated gentleness without compromising truth The difference between gentleness and weakness Practical ways to cultivate gentleness in our words, reactions, and relationships What it looks like to surrender our responses to the Holy Spirit Scripture: Galatians 5:22–23; Matthew 11:28–30 Reflection: Where might God be inviting you to replace a harsh reaction with a gentle response this week? | 8/11/26 | Things Christians Say That AREN’T Actually In The Bible | Have you ever heard a phrase so many times that you just assumed it was in the Bible? 🙋♀️ SAME. In today’s episode, Kaleb and I are breaking down some of the most common sayings Christians repeat that either aren’t actually in Scripture or are often taken wayyy out of context. We’re talking about everything from “God won’t give you more than you can handle” and “everything happens for a reason” to soulmates, money, Halloween, taking God’s name in vain, and more. We are definitely NOT claiming to be biblical scholars, and we’re totally open to being corrected, but our heart behind this conversation is to encourage all of us to actually know what the Word of God says instead of building our theology around something we heard on Instagram, from a friend, or even growing up in church. And as always, if we missed something or you disagree with one of our takes, let us know! | 7/31/26 | Trusting God, Even When It’s Hard… | Fruit of the Spirit Series: Faithfulness | What does it actually mean to be faithful to God—especially when you’re waiting, discouraged, or life isn’t going according to plan? In this episode of our Fruit of the Spirit series, we’re talking about faithfulness and what the Bible teaches about trusting God in every season. We’ll unpack God’s faithfulness, how to stay consistent in your Christian faith when your feelings change, and why being faithful in the small things matters more than we realize. If you’ve been struggling to trust God, waiting for an answered prayer, or wanting to grow deeper in your relationship with Jesus, this episode will encourage you to keep showing up, keep obeying, and remember that God is faithful—even when you can’t see what He’s doing yet. Scriptures: Galatians 5:22–23, Lamentations 3:22–23, 2 Timothy 2:13, Romans 4:20–21, Daniel 6:10, Luke 16:10, Matthew 25:21, Galatians 6:9 Learn more about your ad choices. | 7/28/26 | We’re Struggling… | Some weeks, we have so much to say... and other weeks, we honestly don't know where to start. 🤍 This episode is one of those conversations where we just hit record and got real. We open up about feeling stuck, uninspired, and honestly just a little "off." Between law school starting back up, parenting, work, comparison, and the pressure to always be "on," we wanted to share what we're actually walking through instead of pretending everything is perfect. We talk about why chasing constant highs leaves us empty, how social media can distort reality, and the importance of checking in with ourselves mentally, physically, emotionally, and spiritually. We also share some of the small habits we're trying to build—putting our phones away before bed, reading more, spending intentional time with God, prioritizing community, and remembering that faithfulness often looks a lot more ordinary than exciting. If you've been feeling numb, discouraged, or like you're just going through the motions lately, we hope this episode reminds you that you're not alone. Sometimes the next right step isn't a huge life change—it's simply choosing faithfulness in the small things and trusting God in every season. ‼️Check out my collab with Ponyflo‼️ Visit https: ponyflohats.com and use code JEANINE for 15% off!! | 7/24/26 | What Society Gets Wrong About Being “Good”... | Fruit of the Spirit Series: GOODNESS | Welcome back to our Fruit of the Spirit series! 🌿 Today we're talking about goodness—one of the most misunderstood qualities in the Christian life. Our culture often tells us that being a "good person" means being nice, avoiding major mistakes, or simply being better than those around us. But the Bible paints a much deeper picture. In this episode, we explore what it truly means that God is good, why He alone is the standard of goodness, and how the Holy Spirit produces genuine goodness in the lives of believers. We'll look at how goodness is more than moral behavior—it's holiness in action, flowing from a transformed heart that desires to reflect Christ and bless others. We'll also unpack the difference between being nice and being good, why goodness sometimes requires speaking difficult truth in love, and how spending time with Jesus transforms our hearts to look more like His. If you've ever wondered what biblical goodness really looks like—or if you've struggled to reconcile God's goodness with the brokenness of our world—this episode is for you. Why only God is truly good (Luke 18:19) What God's goodness tells us about His character Why God's plans are always good—even in suffering The goodness of God throughout creation and Scripture Why evil exists if God is good What the Fruit of the Spirit means by "goodness" The Greek word agathosune and why it matters The difference between being nice and being good Practical ways to grow in goodness through the Holy Spirit A challenge to reflect God's goodness in everyday life Buy my book Becoming Happy and Healthy <3 If you’d like to partner with Jeanine as a sponsor for the Happy & Healthy podcast, fill out our Advertise With Us form! I also talk about what the Bible says about marriage, why prayer and community matter so much, how comparison steals joy, and practical ways to build a marriage that actually lasts.
