HHN 365: A Halloween Horror Nights Podcast

Halloween Horror Nights announcements have been coming rapidly and in this episode we will discuss the reveal of Hellraiser as a house for HHN 35 in Orlando and HHN 2026 in Hollywood. And also the slightly unexpected return of Nightmare Fuel. Along with that construction in Orlando has started to bear themed set pieces and more trusses than we can count.

We've received two house announcements with Stranger Things 5 and H.R. Bloodengutz Presents: A Halloween Fright-Tacular. We discuss where we're at with our Stranger Things fatigue and on the opposite spectrum, our extreme levels of hype for the long awaited return of H.R. Bloodengutz. We also have a good chunk of Halloween Horror nights construction to cover and some very interesting tweets from John Murdy that hint at a couple houses for HHN 2026 in Hollywood.

We looks back at HHN 34 one more time as we return with the 6th Annual Schmidties Awards. This is our own award show dedicated to Halloween Horror Nights 2025 in Orlando. We'll award houses, zones, food, drink, and more. See who'll take home the coveted, House of the Year award. We also introduce a VERY special brand new award for our 6th season.

The conservatory gates have closed for good and HHN 34 is now just a memory. The question is, was it a good memory? We review all aspects of Halloween Horror Nights in Orlando for HHN 2025. Was Terrifier the shining IP it was expected to be? Did Horrors of the Wyatt Sicks impress non-believers? We'll not only discuss the houses, zones, and shows but we'll of course provide our final rankings for them.

We survived opening weekend of Halloween Horror Nights 34 at Universal Studios Florida and had an amazing time. On this episode we'll recap everything we experienced in what looks to be a year thar return HHN Orlando back to form. The event vibe, food, zones, and houses all feel like a step up from last year. Did properties like Five Nights at Freddy's surprise us? Was Terrifier not what was expected? Well, find out as we go over our house rankings after week one.

Halloween Horror Nights starts next week in Orlando, we discuss new merch that has appeared in the parks, construction updates for both coasts and news. Midsummer Scream also hosted an HHN panel this past weekend with Mike Aiello (Orlando) and John Murdy (Hollywood) where we got quite a bit of information on WWE and Terrifier as well as pictures taken inside the houses.

We have received the long awaited house announcements for Five Nights at Freddy's and WWE Presents The Horrors of the Wyatt Sicks, coming to both HHN 2025 at Universal Studios Hollywood and HHN 34 at Universal Orlando Resort. With these announcements we also received new preview merchandise for both houses. Of course, Jess is over the moon and wants to prepare those unfamiliar with the Wyatt Sicks on why they should be excited to experience this property at HHN.

The Horror Nights Gods blessed us with a second spooky week for Orlando and we recieved 4 scarezone announcements as well as two brand new "street experiences". We discuss each announcement as well as all of the information that was shared from the HHN UK travel agent panel this week, including some info about Five Nights, Terrifier, Jason and Fallout as well as each original house. We check-in on each coast to see how construction is going for both HHN 2025 in Hollywood and HHN34 in Orlando as well as some speculation about the future of HHN in Hollywood with it's current ongoing construction.
