Faced with unimaginable odds, she met that moment with extraordinary courage. In 2012, she made medical history as the first woman in the world cured of Sickle Cell Disease through the Stride-HCT Bone Marrow Transplant clinical trial. But her story didn’t stop there. Instead of quietly returning to life, she chose purpose. Stepping forward to share her journey, advocate for awareness, and inspire others to heal, fight, and believe again. Today, she continues to shine as an actress, professional model, motivational speaker, and powerhouse entrepreneur. She is living proof that purpose is always stronger than adversity.
