About this episode

Johnnie Green and his pony Twinkleheels embark on a spirited adventure, showcasing that courage matters more than size.

When Johnnie Green sends Twinkleheels down the road at a trot, his tiny hooves move so rapidly that they seem to blur together. As a pony, Twinkleheels is only half the size of a horse, but he compensates by racing his legs twice as fast. His friends know that he never backs down from a challenge, regardless of how tall his competitors might be. Its spirit, not size, that counts, Farmer Green often says, watching Twinkleheels gallop out of the yard, sometimes with Johnnie riding high, other times pulling Johnnie in a charming little red buggy. Even old dog Spot, who initially found Twinkleheels amusing, has come to respect his feisty spirit. (Summary by author)
