About this episode
The sermon emphasizes the importance of community and compassion, illustrating that what seems impossible alone can be achieved together with help.
In our "Tell Me Something Good" sermon series, we're gonna do just that. In the modern day we are surrounded by a constant stream of bad news. The headlines pull us towards anxiety, social media amplifies outrage, and the loudest voices highlight what is broken. But the Gospel, the actual "Good News" is not a message of scarcity or despair; it is of liberation, mercy, grace, joy, and so much more. Today we focus on the compassion and community. Jesus sought to teach us that what feels insurmountable alone can be easily done with help. That if we look around ourselves and ask "What do I have?", be it time, resources, skills, energy, whatever it may be, that it is enough. Enough to help, enough to start, enough to share.
