Drift is not an intentional rejection of Jesus but a slow, subtle pull toward comfort, distraction, and carnality. The writer of Hebrews reminds believers that the law, mediated through angels, carried consequences for disobedience. How much more serious is it to neglect so great a salvation announced by the Lord Himself. Through illustrations of running a race, seeking counsel from mentors, and stirring up spiritual vision, Pastor David calls believers to intentional faith. God has assigned angels to minister and guard His people, yet believers must respond actively. The warning is clear: drifting leads toward judgment, but steadfast faith leads toward salvation and eternal reward.
