Premier Lacrosse League co-founder and Cannons midfielder Paul Rabil joins the show to talk about the PLL quarterfinals, which will be held Friday and Saturday at Rio Tinto Stadium (NBC and NBC Sports Network) one year after hosting a wildly successful "bubble tournament" at Zions Bank Stadium in Herriman. 

BYU unveiled a groundbreaking partnership with Built Brands, LLC, an American Fork-based business that specializes in protein bars and energy supplements. The local company inked an individual sponsorship with each player, but specifically sponsored the Cougars' walk-on football players to endorse their product through practice gear, product placement and social media, in exchange for a year's worth of tuition for each player. Did the first-of-its-kind deal change the game in the wild, wild west of name, image and likeness? 

Utah Valley athletic director Jared Sumsion introduces the fifth head coach of Utah Valley University's baseball program, Eddie Smith, who most recently was the hitting coach at LSU. Smith will succeed longtime head coach Eric Madsen as soon as the Tigers wrap up their postseason, which begins this weekend in the NCAA's Eugene (Ore.) Regional. Full story available here. 

BYU forward Gideon George met with the media following his 19-point, 13-rebound effort in a 105-60 win at Portland — a game where he singlehandedly outrebounded the Pilots. The Cougars will face No. 1 Gonzaga on Monday, Feb. 8 at 9 p.m. MT on ESPN. #BYUhoops  

Dixie State coach Paul Peterson sat down to talk about the first day of the FCS spring football season, the Trailblazers' first formal practice as a Division I team, and what a move to the Western Athletic Conference will do for Utah's newest Division I college football program.

U.S. Naval Academy head coach Ken Niumatalolo discussed the Midshipmen's replacement of the canceled Notre Dame game for the first time since 1927, and adding BYU to the Middies' schedule for the first time since 1989. Colin Burke was among the first graduate transfers to play for Utah lacrosse since the school join NCAA Division I in 2019. He also made history this week, when the New York Lizards traded up to selected him with the No. 3 overall pick in the 2020 Major League Lacrosse college draft.
