Sometimes in life, it’s easier to fix what’s visible than to address the deeper issues. When it comes to our spiritual lives, it’s no different. We say things like, “I’ll pray about it,” yet we avoid fully committing to God’s Word in obedience. We live for God one day and live for ourselves the other six. That’s why, in today’s message, Pastor Lance challenges us to deal with the root: to surrender to God’s authority, give Him our lives, and allow His Word, not our preferences, to rule our lives.
