June 14th, 2026 Pastor Chad McDonald Have you ever planned a vacation for months in advance? You have been anticipating this trip for months, and then, you finally arrive. Your feet hit the ground in this anticipated place, joined by people you love, and you begin to take in all the sights and beauty of it. That’s the experience of David in Psalm 122. The experience of the pilgrim continues. He has been in a place that he should not be for too long (Psalm 120). He has anticipated the journey and the difficulties that await him, resting in God’s presence and protection to guide him along the way (Psalm 121). He thinks back on the call to go home to Jerusalem and worship with the nation. Now, in Psalm 122, he arrives. His feet are standing within the gates. The experience that David describes has practical application for our lives and our corporate worship. February 8th, 2026 Pastor Chad McDonald The deepest desire of every human heart is to know that someone cares for them. Is there anyone out there that really cares about me? As we turn our attention this weekend to Psalm 8, you can almost imagine David as a young shepherd staring into the night sky. He sees the vastness of God’s creation displayed in the heavens. He considers the majesty of the God who has created all that he sees and is overwhelmed that this same God would care for him. Not just care for him, but love him, know him, and be concerned with his life and activity. The stability of David’s life was rooted in the knowledge that God loved him. Now, more than ever, we need this same stability. In a world where we face all kinds of intellectual and atheistic pressures, we can stand firm because we know that our heavenly Father cares for us. I pray that you will join us this weekend as we worship in song, in the study of God’s Word, and in the observance of the Lord’s Supper. In Christ, Pastor Chad

January 4th, 2026 Pastor Chad McDonald Within discipleship settings, I have found that Christians are willing to talk about a wide variety of subjects. What is seldom discussed, however, is the blessing that is promised to those who have a gospel view of the use of their money. On that subject, there is normally silence. They say that it is the sign that a person has truly been converted when they begin to give away their money. It was certainly the sign that Christ gave for the changed heart of Zacchaeus. I believe it is no less true today. What lies behind such a change in our heart? What is it about the gospel that releases us from a bondage to money and to find contentment in Him? And more than this, what are the principles for viewing our money in a gospel way? Are there any laws or specific commands? We will dive into this incredibly significant area of life this weekend in our worship services. I pray you will make plans to join us. I promise that there will be no high-pressure tactics or manipulative efforts to coerce you into giving. My prayer is simply that God would work in all our hearts as we seek to view the resources that God has given us through the lens of His truth and the gospel. Let’s start the year off with a fresh commitment to attending church.
