We begin our new series “Characters Around the Cross” with a powerful and sobering message from Pastor Joy titled “Judas Iscariot Who Betrayed Him,” based on John 13:18–30. Through the life of Judas, we are reminded that betrayal doesn’t happen overnight—it follows a dangerous path: greed, offense, and hypocrisy. No matter what the year has brought—victories, challenges, or unanswered questions—we are invited to finish strong by choosing the right posture of the heart: be joyful in every season, be prayerful in all circumstances, and be thankful in everything. This message encourages us to carry these practices beyond the year’s end, anchoring our lives in God’s will and grace.

As we continue our series “Finishing the Year Strong,” Bro. Makoy shared a timely and thought-provoking message titled “Who’s Robbing My Joy?” based on James 1:4. In the midst of trials, pressures, and unfinished battles, it’s easy to let circumstances, people, or disappointments steal our joy. Yet Scripture reminds us that perseverance has a purpose. Shaping our character and leading us toward spiritual maturity. This message challenges us to identify what’s draining our joy and to choose faith over frustration, trusting that God is using every season to complete His good work in us.

As we continue our series “Finishing the Year Strong,” Pastor Obed delivered a timely message titled “When Success Feels Empty,” drawn from Mark 10:17–31. In a world that tells us to chase more—more achievements, more possessions, more recognition—Jesus reminds us that true fulfillment can never be found in what we gain, but in who we follow. Pastor Obed challenged us to examine the areas where we rely on success to define us, and to rediscover the joy, purpose, and wholeness that come only from surrendering everything to Christ. When success feels empty, Jesus invites us into something richer—eternal life with Him.

As we continue our series Finishing the Year Strong, Pastor Joy reminded us through Exodus 15:22–27 never to let disappointment stop us. Life will lead us through dry places, bitter waters, and moments where expectations fail—but God is still working behind the scenes. What feels like a setback may actually be preparation for a breakthrough. When we choose to trust Him in the middle of our frustrations, He transforms bitterness into refreshment and redirects us toward His promises. Keep going—God is not done writing your story.

In the series "Real Life Issues: Faith – Help Me in My Unbelief," Pastor Jojo shared an important message from Hebrews 3:12-15 about feeling doubt. Sometimes, our faith can feel weak because of fear, disappointment, or unanswered prayers. Even when we struggle, God encourages us not to give up but to come closer to Him. Pastor Jojo reminded us that our faith can grow if we keep our hearts open, stay connected to God’s Word, and support each other daily. This message shows that even when we face challenges in our faith, God is always faithful.
