| 6/30/26 | ![]() She's not my wife – get me out of here! | On this week's light-hearted podcast, Equiteam's Liz Daniels and Lou Gillings go way off-piste as they share the most ridiculous things they have done because the other one said it would be a good idea, travelling for 36 hours straight, what would be on their dating profile if the other one had to write it, and who is most likely to be late (no shock statements for that one!). | — | ||||||
| 6/23/26 | ![]() Finances made sexy (yes really) | If you're anything like us, then you prioritise your horse and their needs, but investing in yourself financially always seems to fall way off the to-do list, and the mere mention of pensions sends us running for the stables. In this episode, Equiteam's Liz Daniels is joined by the lovely Ruth Downs, Founder of Truth Financial, with the remit – please can you make finances accessible and sexy! Ruth manages to do just that, as she passionately shares some basic tips for budgeting, emergency funds, and pensions, without cutting back on enjoying life. | 6/9/26 | ![]() Utilising the remaining 2,000 weeks | Following on from last week's podcast with the daunting fact that on average you have 4,000 weeks (if you are lucky and live to 80), combined with lots of chat in the Equiteam Connected group, Equiteam's Lou Gillings set about researching different goal setting methods, which she used for the base of her blog 'How hard are you willing to work'. Lou explored different methods outside the traditional SMART goal comfort zone and came across WOOP and ACID goal setting which spiked her interest as it got her thinking about the possible obstacles, and also how much she really wanted her goals. | 6/2/26 | ![]() 36 birthdays left… if you're lucky | Sometimes you get those emails that make you stop and think, and when the Art of Brilliance email: Busy, busy, busy, busy, busy… Dead popped into Liz's inbox; she couldn't help but click the link. The average lifespan is 4,000 weeks, and clicking the link calculates how long you've been on the planet – and how long you have left (on average). It shares how many birthdays you might have, how many springs and how many beach days… all very thought-provoking, and a little bit scary! Join Equiteam's Liz Daniels and Louise Gillings for a catch up and a reminder to have some fun. | 5/18/26 | ![]() The Georgie Campbell Foundation – to support the sport she loved with a smile | In this episode, Liz Daniels is joined by Jo Williams, older sister of the late Georgie Campbell and a trustee of the Georgie Campbell Foundation. The tragic loss of Georgie rocked the equestrian community to the core, and after Georgie's public memorial, the foundation was created with two missions in mind; to improve horse and rider safety by reducing the risk of rotational falls; and, secondly, to provide riders with early-stage eventing businesses through the provision of mentoring, educational training, and bursary support. Jo shares how the sisters grew up surrounded by ponies on the farm, and Jo being annoyed that Georgie could do rising trot before her – to the formation of the foundation, and the story behind the Hi Ho Silver Twig jewelry. Listen to the podcast and find out how you can get involved in supporting Georgie's legacy to make positive change in the sport. Website: https://georgiecampbellfoundation.org.uk/ | — | ||||||

Accomplished equestrian Flo, shares more about her day job as a professional dressage rider alongside running a livery yard, Nupdown Equestrian, in Bristol, and how answering an advert on Facebook for singing farmers has changed her life. | 4/21/26 | ![]() Dancing your way to feeling proud | It's not very often that we allow ourselves to feel proud, or to set out to a big competition with a goal, only then move the goal posts in the heat of the moment - which leaves a taste of disappointment. Having encountered various equine skin related challenges, Melanie was struggling to find something that really worked. After 18 months, Mel realised that she had an oil based product that not only worked, but could also promote healthy skin, but a failed attempt at marketing it meant it sat back on the shelf and only used for her own horses. After an angel card reading, Mel took the £100 left from her business account and decided to spend it on Facebook marketing – and the rest is history. With the development of additional skin based products, Mel oozes passion as someone who wants to make a difference. https://greathorseproducts.co.uk/ | — | ||||||
