Marie and Erin discuss social justice and Marie's experience at Windsor Law's Justice at Work Conference. They interview a student volunteer and the Social Justice Career Coordinator about their work preparing for the conference and a putting together a literature review of social justice job postings. The specific topic of drug courts is also considered.

Erin and Marie feature our very own PBSC project - Pro Bono Radio! They discuss the importance of public legal education in access to justice, looking at issues such as the right to counsel and accessibility of the legal system and of legal information. Also, they interview a Pro Bono Radio volunteer from last year, who gives his perspective on access to justice and his experiences then and now.

We take a step back this week and look at Pro Bono on a macro and international scale. We look at what other countries are doing to provide Pro Bono services and take a peak at some new innovative services being created to expand Pro Bono delivery.

This episode we chat about the NEW cannabis laws. and speak to Ellen and Najah from Essex County Diversion Program PBSC project about their brochure focusing on youth and their understanding of the cannabis laws in Canada.
