Regardless of what we might think in terms of likelihood or whether they're kosher or not, things just keep getting weirder in our (allegedly) erstwhile Republic. But take heart! Or at least your hosts did; in one recent piece of good news, a relic of the Prohibition era's MO was undone when the Trump Administration moved to de-schedule/re-schedule cannabis from Schedule 1. While previously ranked in a category of drugs so severe (like heroin) as to purportedly have no medicinal value and thus difficult to even study, marijuana now finds itself in a kinder, gentler category. Being Schedule 3/III/Three loosens up some of the rules restricting academia from learning some of the longer-term effects.
