Tanya is doing is vital for Solano County, especially for our youth. She is teaching young women and men how to build healthy relationships, recognize the warning signs of abuse, and most importantly, how to thrive without becoming victims of cycles of violence. Her story is one of courage and resilience: as a multi-generational survivor of domestic violence, she transformed her pain into purpose. Through founding VEST (Victims Empowerment Support Team) and launching the RISE Therapy Program, Tanya is giving survivors the resources, healing, and hope they need to reclaim their lives.
