Have we become a society where learnt helplessness is prolific? Where we'd rather be told what to do and how to think rather than take any type of responsibility. This episode explores some current observations and state of play as we're starting 2024. How little by little the additional tasks are adding up to create systems and structures that are leaving people despondent, burnt out and tired. In this episode we speak with Karina Kalilah, a leader in Rebirthing Breathwork, Embodiment and Sound Medicine. A former high school teacher who after experiencing burnout, found healing through sound and breathwork. Her journey has seen her create the Embodied Breath Academy where she teaches and certifies people to be rebirthing breathwork practitioners.  We spoke about the healing of breathwork, how breath can help to reduce stress and be a catalyst to help people find what they truly love. Karina shares her personal journey to how she came across the healing modalities she now teaches.
