"I don't want to be labeled as a Christian anymore." It seems as if this sentiment is being shared frequently among the Christian community as the word, "Christian" is a powder keg of misuse. More and more the word "Christian" is being associated with descriptors like judgmental, bigoted, homophobic, hateful, racist, misogynistic, exclusive, hypocritical and many more - and in the process, the message of Jesus is being lost. And we admit the church has most certainly earned its stripes in this regard.
