Out And About With Jamie Grout

WHO Radio is and always has been involved in the Iowa State Fair. And, one of the neat things about being The Morning Show Producer at WHO Radio is that every morning I get to hear about all the preperation going on at the fair when Morning Host Jeff Angelo talks with State Fair Marketing Director Mindy Williamson about preperations for the fair. On this podcast I speak with Mindy about all the preperations for this years fair. I know the fair isn't until August but they already have lots of exciting plans for this years fair which runs August 13th through August 23rd. In this podcast I speak with a couple of ladies who are heavily involved with The Grinnell Historical Museum. They have a couple of big events going on in July that you might want to attend. The ladies talk about how the museum has had youngsters in to find out about the history of Grinnell and to see some of the artifacts of the past. Little Red and I LOVE donkeys! A couple years ago my sweetie started showing me videos from a guy who has an animal sanctuary in Spain that takes care of unwanted donkeys and horses. We really fell in love with the donkeys. Then a long time listener and friend Jamie Brennan of Montezuma started posting videos of her donkeys on Facebook. She had one we really fell in love with that is the baby of the donkey family and his name is Duncan. Most recently she posted a video of she and her donkeys on National Donkey Day and a previous video of her donkey's where go got some mud on her face. On this podcast the talks about how she's always been an animal lover and how she and her husband Chris came to having the donkeys.
