Month of Sivan starts sundown of May 16th, 2026 and is the third month on the Jewish calendar counting from Nisan (redemption/freedom) to Iyar (Counting the Omer) to Sivan (Receiving the Torah) Mystical 3 connected to Sivan: Hebrew Torah: The Hebrew Bible is divided into three sections: Torah (Law), Nevi'im (Prophets), and Ketuvim (Writings). Three-Part Nation: The Jewish people are structurally divided into three groups: Kohanim (Priests), Levites, and Israelites. Third Child: Moses, who ascended Mount Sinai to receive the Torah, was the third child of his parents, Amram and Yocheved (after Miriam and Aaron). Three Days of Preparation: Before the revelation at Sinai, God commanded the nation to undergo three days of spiritual purification Number 1: Absolute unity (Hashem) Number 2: Represents separation, division and duality (man and woman; heaven and earth) Number 3: Represents ”Harmony and Peace”. It is the force that connects two opposing realities. Shavuot celebrates the ultimate connection between the upper spiritual worlds and our physical world, bridged forever by the Torah. In Torah thought, the number one represents absolute unity (God). The number two represents separation, division, and duality (man and woman, heaven and earth). [1, 2, 3] The number three represents harmony and peace. It is the force that connects two opposing realities. The Month of Divine Connection In Kabbalah (Jewish mysticism), Sivan is the month of integration. It moves us past the constriction of Nissan (Passover) and the spiritual refinement of Iyar (the Omer). Sivan represents the ultimate wedding between heaven and earth. 1 Time 2:5 (Yeshua the mediator between Heaven and earth) 5 For God is one;[a] and there is but one Mediator between God and humanity, Yeshua the Messiah, himself human, 6 who gave himself as a ransom on behalf of all, thus providing testimony to God’s purpose at just the right time. Ep 2:11-14 (Yeshua broke the wall to bring peace) 11 Therefore, remember your former state: you Gentiles by birth — called the Uncircumcised by those who, merely because of an operation on their flesh, are called the Circumcised — 12 at that time had no Messiah. Vayakhel (And He Assembled) Pekudei (Accounting) Exodus 35:1to 38:20; 38:21-40:38 is double Torah portion this week. MOSES comes down after 40 days to let the Children of Israel know that Hashem has forgiven them, and that day was Yom Kippur. 10th day of Tishrei. Informs them of the building project.The tabernacle project is completed and Moses, Aaron and the rest are about to assemble the tabernacle. The assembly starts with the Holy of Holies and as if Moses is moving backwards (same way when leaving the presence of a King) and starts describing the Holy Place and then moves all the way at the entrance describes the altar and moving forward into the brazen laver. Why did the Lord take the time to describe the earthly tabernacle? Perhaps He is showing us something. In fact, I can show you that the Gospel (plan of salvation and redemption) can be seen on the tabernacles. It goes on to describe the Priestly garments. In fact, this is the same garment described by Paul as our full armor of God (not a Roman soldier). In Pekudei, they call this the accountants Torah portion. God is showing us the importance of full disclosure and accounting of resources entrusted to us. Throughout this Torah portion, you will repeatedly hear/read “according to all that the Lord had commanded”. Because the children of Israel did that, he Glory of the Lord fell and came. It is an example for us, when God tells us to do something, we need to be faithful to carry it out “according to all that the Lord had commanded”.

The feast of Purim begins tonight March 2nd to 4th…. Adar 14 and some celebrate it on the 15th…..SO PURIM LIKE ROSH HASHNAHA IS CELEBRATED IN TWO DAYS….. There are two traditions in Purim called “Mishloach Manot” (Giving of food to family and friends) and “Matanot La’evyonim” (Giving of gifts to the poor). To celebrate that CY will be donating non-perishable food to the Food Bank. Also, if you like, wear a costume as Purim is all about hidden identities. We encourage you to read the book of Esther to prepare for the teaching. The teaching will cover hidden clues that point to where this practices came from in the book of Esther and what its broader implication to us. We will look at how Esther was also like Daniel, Hananiah, Mishael and Azariah. For the meat of the teaching , we will relate how Mordecai mirrored Joseph and more importantly Yeshua the Messiah.
