| 5/12/26 | ![]() What Took You So Long? - Season 5 / Episode 4 | Have you ever heard a question that stopped you in your tracks? I have. It happened to me a few hours before I recorded this episode and inspired me to make it the main character. Connecting through a friend’s story and impact today felt like I was looking in the rear view mirror. What I saw, heard, and felt was so familiar that I could have told the story myself. I wonder how the question I heard will help you to examine your patterns? I’m curious if it will land right in the center of what makes a difference for you? Press play to learn more about the recent powerful inquiry I heard. | — | ||||||
| 4/23/26 | ![]() Becoming BFF’s with the F Word - Season 5 / Episode 3 | I discovered a magical prescription that helps me to thrive and it boils down to a well-known word in the English language. Some are more comfortable using it than others and I’ve found it useful in my vocabulary but more useful in my everyday life for the last 25 years. It’s become such a staple in my life that we’re now BFF’s. Press play to hear how the F Word and I began our close relationship 25 years ago. You just may find it as impactful in your life as I have. | — | ||||||
| 4/10/26 | ![]() Pivoting From Perceptions - Season 5 / Episode 2 | We heard a lot about pivoting during Covid. Many companies were forced to change their product lines from what they’ve always done well to PPE in order to remain afloat. Pivoting has always been described as an action taken when things aren’t going as planned, and a change in direction or focus is needed. There is another useful way to pivot when things are going well. This alternative version of pivoting is now a pattern in my career success. Just recently, I realized that our conventional perception of pivoting restricts the possibilities that help us thrive in uncertainty. Press play to hear how doing the new pivot added another rich layer of gratification to my seasoned career! | — | ||||||
| 3/26/26 | ![]() Returning to Possibilities - Season 5 / Episode 1 | Patterns and possibilities is back and I am explaining where I’ve been and why you haven’t had an episode since the end of 2025. It’s not an excuse but I believe it’s a a reason worth hearing. I’m also talking about style and a recent revelation I had that let me know it has nothing to do with being fashionable. If you’ve ever admired someone for their style, listen in. You may discover what you thought was style was really something deeper than what you see on the surface. Press play and let’s explore some possibilities together! | — | ||||||
| 12/31/25 | ![]() How Are You Walking Into 2026? - Season 4 / Episode 27 | Can you believe it’s almost 2026? It’s seems like the past 12 months came and went like 12 days. A lot happened, a lot came and went and now we get to do it over again in a new way with new patterns.I’m curious how you navigated 2025? What were your highs and lows? What are you leaving behind from 2025 and what are you bringing with you for a safe, healthy and prosperous 2026? I’m answering those questions too in this episode. Press play and join the pod-versation. | — | ||||||
| 12/17/25 | ![]() What Are You Willing to Give Up? - Season 4 / Episode 26 | Sex. That three-letter word may have automatically captured your attention because it’s woven into so much of who we are and what we invest in our time in. Sex is everywhere…in our relationships, conversations, and the tv shows and movies that we call our favorites. That is just the tip of the iceberg. I’ve chosen to move Sex to the back of the closet and focus on other important things. This decision is the best decision I’ve ever made and if you’re curious about my choice, press play to hear more about my what, so what, and now what! | — | ||||||
| 12/3/25 | ![]() Can What You Don’t Know Hurt You? - Season 4 / Episode 25 | We’ve all heard the phrase, “What you don’t know won’t hurt you.” It’s believed by some and has become a life philosophy of many. In the traditional sense, those seven words convey that ignorance of a problem or a misdeed can prevent you from being unhappy or harmed by worrying about it. I became curious about what else it could mean and explored how what I didn’t know was actually hurting me. Hurt doesn’t always signify something dangerous or life-altering. The hurt we face can be as simple as the hurt we do to ourselves through our assumptions, judgments, defensiveness and disagreements with others. I recently had questions about my future and realized that what I didn’t know could have led me to a decision I would have regretted. What I do know now is what we don’t know can definitely hurt our ability to thrive now and well into the future. | — | ||||||
| 11/19/25 | ![]() What’s the Expiration Date? - Season 4 / Episode 24 | Some of the most impactful insights come during those quick, one-on-one conversations with close friends and family members. I recently had one of those lightbulb moments after listening to a friend’s sour story about the patterns that are keeping her stuck in a cycle she doesn’t want to be in. Sometimes we only want to indulge in deep, long, and uplifting exchanges, but we have to make space for problematic patterns to be quickly voiced even if we’d rather have a longer and sweeter conversation. The biggest lessons are often birthed from short and sour conversations. What have you learned lately from your quick conversations? | — | ||||||
| 11/5/25 | ![]() What Does Love Need in Order to Thrive? - Season 4 / Episode 23 | Romantic LOVE can be complex! Sometimes it expands, sometimes it shrinks, and sometimes it disappears altogether as if it never existed. Romantic love doesn’t have to struggle through complexity. It can navigate through the high and lows, if we human beings, give it a strong foundation to stand upon, and we remain committed to keeping that foundation strong TOGETHER as a couple. Listen to the revelation, I had recently, about the three foundations that keep love thriving. Think about your current and past romantic relationships and see if they embodied these foundational elements. Is your current romantic relationship built on a foundation that can weather the storms of complexity or do you and your partner have some work to do? | — | ||||||

If forming healthy connections is a challenge, you’re in the right place.Press play to hear how we can create and strengthen our connections with a few intentional behaviors that let others know we value our relationships. | — | ||||||

| 10/8/25 | ![]() What’s Your Standard Birthday Behavior? - Season 4 / Episode 21 | I celebrated my birthday three days ago and came to Chicago a couple days later to celebrate all that I’ve poured into myself and others over the past year. Coming to Chicago on or around my birthday has been my pattern for several years, but honoring the investments I’ve made in my growth and the growth of people around me is still somewhat new.I decided to take a look back at the past year of my life and focus on the time in between my birthday last year and this year. I did it in solitude and in a place and space that I’ve never visited alone. The time I spent there, looking back with gratitude, opened up a well in me that was yearning to be set free. What poured out reminded me that I am a channel of transformation, and I’ve got some big assignments ahead of me. No more excuses. I’m on a mission to be better, live better, do better and move beyond who I am and where I am between every birthday. Listen in to hear the epiphany I had about birthdays. It just might inspire you to see and understand them differently too and release an influential flow that starts with your own transformation. What’s your standard birthday behavior and what do you wish for yourself as you get one year older? | — | ||||||
| 9/24/25 | ![]() What Keeps Us Stuck in Patterns of Boredom? - Season 4 / Episode 20 | Have you thought or said these two words to anyone lately…”I’m bored?” If you have, then this episode was recorded with you in mind. There’s nothing wrong with being bored. It can happen from time to time, but when it becomes a pattern, it’s time to do some soul searching. I recently listened to a podcast focused on ways that we can avoid boredom, predictability and stagnation. I’m sharing some of what I learned from the podcast as well as some things you can do to go from boredom to thriving again in a Human Systems Dynamics type of way. | — | ||||||
| 9/10/25 | ![]() What Can We Do to Avoid Pattern Prisons? - Season 4 / Episode 19 | Wouldn’t it be wonderful to live in a world of human beings that only exhibit healthy patterns? Unfortunately, that’s not our current reality. Even when we decide to transform patterns that don’t serve us and others well, we may still encounter human beings who choose to live and operate in unhealthy pattern prisons. Sometimes these individuals consciously and unconsciously invite us to spar and dance with them inside those captive spaces. In order to avoid becoming a pattern prisoner, you’ve got to first see that’s it’s happening and quickly journey into the process of understanding it. Gaslighting happens to be a wicked pattern prison and I recently found myself standing at its’ front door. Listen in to see and understand how I processed and handled that experience and figure out what you would have done differently. | — | ||||||
| 8/27/25 | ![]() What Makes Your Jeans Fit So Well? - Season 4 / Episode 18 | It seems as though segments of the world are obsessed with working out for the purpose of fitting into their favorite pair of jeans or just to look good at an upcoming big event. There’s nothing wrong with any of that, but I wonder what other great excuses could we find for working out? Do we really need an excuse? What if you and I worked out regularly just because? What do you think would happen? If you’re as curious as I am about that question, press play and listen to what I’ve been shocked to discover about developing a pattern of working out. Thanks in advance for listening. | — | ||||||
| 8/13/25 | ![]() Familiar Times Call for Disparate Measures - Season 4 / Episode 17 | Familiarity is good. It helps us to feel comfortable and safe and in some ways may strengthen our confidence and self-esteem when the things we see, understand and influence become patterns that we know inside and out. In this episode, we’re taking a look at familiarity’s opposition - unfamiliarity. We’re talking about it in a Human Systems Dynamics kind of way, and I hope it helps you to feel better when you’re floating in unfamiliar territory. | — | ||||||
| 7/30/25 | ![]() What If Pain Is Just Part of the Process? - Season 4 / Episode 16 | Of the many things that human beings tend to avoid, I imagine that pain has to live at or close to the top of the list. Pain, if left unexamined, untouched, unaddressed and/or unprocessed produces unhealthy patterns that can restrict our ability to enjoy life and celebrate well. I’ve found Human Systems Dynamics to be extremely useful for seeing the pain in my life for what it really is….a pathway to new and healthy possibilities. Press play and find out how the pain I experienced in one, small room helped me to heal and thrive again. Now, I’m speaking about that pain in bigger rooms that just keep getting bigger. | — | ||||||
| 7/16/25 | ![]() What Does Ice Cream Have to Do With Leadership? - Season 4 / Episode 15 | With all of the extreme heat happening around the country, I can only imagine how much ice cream we’re consuming to help cool ourselves off…even temporarily. Sometimes these uncomfortable weather conditions cause us to get still and when we get still and get comfortable, the possibilities are endless. In this episode, I am exploring some other ice cream consumption possibilities for us to consider. You might be surprised! If you enjoy ice cream, what’s your favorite flavor? Mine is chocolate chip! | — | ||||||
| 7/2/25 | ![]() Which Came First - The Community or the Commitment? - Season 4 / Episode 14 | Have you ever heard this question being asked? Which came first - the chicken or the egg? I have and that powerful question came to mind after I recorded this episode about COMMUNITY. It’s a word that we hear now more than ever and I believe social media along with the pandemic helped to make this concept of COMMUNITY something that we all learned to lean on in order to thrive. COMMUNITY is much more than just the people we live, work and play around. COMMUNITY has expanded to people we may never meet but feel connected to because of our background, interests and sometimes our beliefs. I’m curious if we have created some addictions to community and connectedness that that aren’t serving us well. That curiosity leads me to ask the question, “Which came first - the community or the commitment?” Press play to see, hear, and understand what lead me this question. | — | ||||||
| 6/18/25 | ![]() What If They Don’t Want Your Help ? - Season 4 / Episode 13 | Human Systems Dynamics and its Adaptive Action is a proven method for transforming any wicked issue. Even though many people, around the world, can provide evidence of its impact, there are some human beings who will resist learning about it and using it for their own, personal reasons. It’s reasonable to want to share the richness of HSD with the people around us….people who may be stuck and suffering in a pattern of hopelessness and despair. What do we do when people we love, like, care about and lead , resist our support and encouragement during tough times? What do we do when they choose to isolate themselves and disconnect from us and our impactful advice and resources? How can Human Systems Dynamics help us to help them? | — | ||||||
| 6/4/25 | ![]() What Does Keeping It Simple Look Like? - Season 4 / Episode 12 | I am inspired to keep my life simple now. I’m exploring simpler ways to do everything, including celebrating life. At this moment, I’m typing these notes from the bed in my hotel room in Chicago, Illinois. Staring at me is the view of the city reminding me of the beauty and joy of simplicity and how it led me here on this solo vacation. Press play to find out how keeping it simple is making my life blissful. | — | ||||||
| 5/21/25 | ![]() What Are You Afraid Of? - Season 4 / Episode 11 | Are you facing life from a posture of fear or fearlessness? What haven’t you done yet simply because the thought of it scares you? How big is the fear you cling to and are the excuses that accompany it bigger than your goals and aspirations? If fear is a big pattern in your life, what is the simplest way to weaken its power? Let’s explore the pattern of fear and it’s impacts together. | — | ||||||
| 5/7/25 | ![]() Can HSD Help You to Thrive in Love? - Season 4 / Episode 10 | While around 34.5% of the global population is thought to be single, around 41% of people go through at least one divorce, if not more. People, of all ages, are entering the dating world for the first time after being married or in a committed relationship for many years. Many of these newly single adults are finding out, the hard way, that getting to know someone is more complicated than it was before social media and all the other technological advances, that we enjoy daily, came to life. Dating apps and text messaging have made it easy and convenient for shorter and quicker conversations . These modern forms of communication and interaction don’t always work well for people who really want to form meaningful, in person connections and find and attract true love. I’m curious if Human Systems Dynamics can be used to help single women and men discover if they are romantically compatible? I think there’s a simple way that will prove to be highly useful for those who desire to find and attract a romantic partner. | — | ||||||
