Alas, no new episodes of "Hi, I'm Jason", but this funny guy has been busy acting and continuing to do stand-up. I still laugh when I replay this episode!___________________________________________________________________________________________________________________This was NOT the typical "Too many Podcasts!" interview, I'll admit. I usually don't end up discussing medical procedures when I'm getting poked and prodded in my, well, you'll hear about it...But Jason was such a fun guest, and very funny, too. Plus, I got to be a guest on his show a while back, too (see below for the link), which was also a lot of fun. But it's not all chat about uncomfortable procedures, I promise. Even though there are actual podcasts about colonoscopies! Do they ask probing questions? (See what I did there?) Jason has had an interesting career in the comedy world, which isn't as easy as you think. But he has survived, complete with pandemic piano lessons. Unfortunately, Einar's audio wasn't that great, even after I cleaned it up, but this was such a fun interview, and he's got that GREAT laugh! But his story is so fascinating, so I felt it was worth another listen!__________________________________________________________________________________________________________________Okay, so how many grandfathers do you know that can tell their kids, " I was Sandra Bullock's bodyguard"? Know any that are featured in an upcoming horror movie? How about if they went from Iceland to work with the LAPD? I can't say that I've known anyone who did all of these-until the day I got to meet Einar Haraldsson. And what a fun meeting that was Rebels! As you can tell from the interview, he's got a great sense of humor. For a while I was thinking, hmmmmm....a guy who lives up north, is jolly, has probably seen reindeer? I wonder what he does every December 24? Unfortunately, I didn't ask him if the name "Rudolph" had any special meaning.Oh well. It's amazing what someone can do with their skills and apply it to a fascination with true crime! Heather certainly made use of her skills and has honed a fascinating read from that fascination.
