Meet my new friend Evan! Evan Westfal (he/him) is a singer-songwriter and vocal instructor. His music is best described as “playful,” “intellectual,” and “hella gay!” As a lyricist, he consistently includes queer themes in his music. Evan’s inaugural EP ‘Gay Pirates’ captures the exaltations and lamentations of queer love. Westfal has sung backing vocals for Josh Groban, and played many festivals including Canada Pride and Calgary Pride. Evan maintains a vocal studio at the Winspear Conservatory of Music where he shares his passion for teaching singing.
