About this episode
The episode discusses overcoming fear and making connections while studying abroad.
Before I came to Sweden for my Erasmus semester, I was afraid of one thing: arriving and staying alone. What if I didn’t find my people? What if a new country never started to feel familiar? In this episode, I share what actually happened when I arrived, why connections can happen faster than expected, and what other international students experienced during their own first weeks abroad. I wish I had heard a podcast like this before I left. Maybe it can help someone else feel a little less afraid to go.
