For the forty fourth episode and potentially the last is a live gig recording of mine from the last Got Music party. The series has closed up 44 episodes in seven years. I’ve met some amazing people and had a chance to showcase my friends and peers doing their thing. Musically the series has had a lot of variety and has been a conduit for me to discover and re-discover so much great music. I hope it has been the same for some of you too. With this thought it felt fitting to include the recording of my set at the last GOT Music party featuring Dro Carey and Julien Mier in April which coincidently marked the 5th anniversary of the party series. I’m really proud to have been a part of Got Music, it’s a special party that fits into its own little pocket of the Sydney dance music scene. My set was 9-11pm prior to Julien’s live set and I feel like a good representation of all the music I’m really digging at the moment. I did get excited and burn through a lot of tracks: fifty eight in total!! Expect dubby broken beat, 80’s industrial moments, otherworld funkiness, tape delay, red planet, alongside brand new discoveries like Deepchild’s Baller, Compass Point by Machìna alongside a bunch…
