In 2021 and 2022, two Remark mixes were released to cope with years of lockdown: Annoconfinamento I and II were the creative culmination of navigating the challenges of the pandemic. These curated, intertwined, and intelligent progressive house mixes encapsulated an artistic response to an uncertain world. As we close 2024, another remarkable response is required. The world continues to collapse — relentless wars, the climate catastrophe, unpredictable AI, and the end of America as state capture takes hold and a dictator dismantles democracy. Reacting to this year of disasters, a creation was born: Annodisastro. Although in the same euphonious realm as its predecessors, Annodisastro elevates the intensity to new heights. This progressive house journey inspires one to escape this chaotic world and fly free — surrounded by emotions, power, and layers of hope that only music can bring.
