We are in a time of the year when other faiths are possibly encouraging fasting. It also happens to be the topic of Jesus' Sermon on the Mount this week at Catalyst. Have you ever fasted? We can be tempted to let our sacrifice unto God be broadcast before others. We can also be tempted to focus on earthly treasures, which Shandi also covers this week from Matthew 6.

This week, Jay Gordon continues our series through the Sermon on the Mount. Reminding us of the importance of our heart condition, Jesus lays out how we should give to the needy and how we should pray to an audience of one.

This semester, our Catalyst series shifts from the 10 Commandments to Jesus' Sermon on the Mount in Matthew 5-7. This week, Shandi Harris shares on the difficult matters Jesus teaches, specifically regarding the Kingdom ethics in matters of anger, lust, and divorce.

In the last Catalyst of the Fall 2025 semester, Sam Parker concludes the study of the Ten Commandments by showing how God's law reveals His holiness and our need for grace, not self-justification.
