The tide table for the lower Savannah River and nearby Savannah-area marshes is showing a classic moving-water bite window today, with the best action around the incoming tide and the first of the outgoing. On the river proper, that push of water should have redfish, trout, and flounder feeding along drains, points, and oyster edges. If you can fish the last hour of the incoming and the first two of the ebb, that’s prime time. Weather-wise, the coastal breeze looks workable, with warm May air, plenty of humidity, and a good chance of cloud cover at times.
