I've been looking for hotels in Athens, Greece, for the past week, and thought I'd share some things I look for when booking hotels overseas. I remember how nervous I was 20 years ago when I first booked a hotel in Spain. Did the phone operator speak English? Why is the website in Spanish? Why is everything in Euros?
