| 6/20/26 | ![]() What We NOT Gonna DO | Happy Juneteenth SOUL Vibrant Fam!Some people have so much to say about how we choose to celebrate, uplift, or protect ourselves. The last thing we need to do is police ourselves. Reflecting on current events, the conversation asks what are we going to do, need to, or should be doing. For this week's episode, I want to talk about what we NOT gonna do moving forward as Black folks. We, the Black Community, must accept some hard truths if we want to create change and progress as a people. *The thunderstorm is a paid actor lol*Podcast intro produced by: Leem Lizzy @leemlizzyMusical highlight artists:KesSocial- @kesthebandofficialGoyo & ZaiderSocial-@goyo @zaidermusicPlease support SOUL Vibrant Podcast by:1 .Donate toPayPal : https://www.paypal.me/QueenladyacCashApp: $ACSoulVibrant2. | 12/6/25 | ![]() "My Body, New Choices" | SOUL Vibrant is Officially Back since I took time to focus on my health. It's bizarre how quickly "My Body, My Choice", "A woman's right to choose", and other various pro-choice attitudes change when the choices go against societal "comforts". Or when the individual reclaiming their right of choice is deemed unworthy, undesirable, or unfit to make such noise. 47 % of physicians underestimate Black patients' pain levels. Black Women face a 3x higher mortality rate compared to other races, and 40% of providers have negative attitudes about patients with higher weight [Fat] bodies. In Season 1, I uncovered my ancestry and the history of Mack Miller Park. Although I share my journey of discovery, I never talked about the powerful spiritual experience of creating the episode. Until Now. With his Permission I reintroduce you to my Ancestral Uncle Mack Miller. The entrepreneur and businessman valued education, community, and self-actualization. Being a devoted Christian, Mack Miller was not a hoodoo. However, He consistently encouraged the use of my gifts, seeing them As a blessing from GOD to me. Originally from New Orleans, Mama "Eye" was sold to a plantation in Georgia, where she spent her entire life rebelling and fighting for Black liberation. Coming from a strong line of voodoo women, she used her gifts for healing, guidance, and empowerment. Her essence illustrated how often people confuse hoodoo for voodoo or vice versa. Using the confusion to her advantage, check out how Mama "Eye" taught me to see hoodoo as an alchemy to Never downplay my gifts or my importance. | 8/30/25 | ![]() Speak LOVE To Me | Love is one of the most desired, misunderstood, and healing experiences that life has to offer. Noticing, throughout my healing journey, everything pulled me back to love. I developed a longing to live a love life and began questioning my own perceptions of it. Inspiring today's episode, I dive further into the conversation of decolonizing our thoughts of love. Influenced by the work of bell hooks, I explore the concepts of unconditional love, self-love, and socialized influences on love. Vulnerably sharing my own experiences, I'm curious about what true, authentic, real love is. | 8/23/25 | ![]() The Beauty of Negativity : A Sankofa Reflection | What is the point of learning and acquiring knowledge about our history if we don't utilize it when necessary? The symbolism of Sankofa teaches us to look back at our past to understand our present and navigate our future. During my own reflection, it reminded me of one of the most powerful shows I produced in my radio days. The broadcast discussed the need for balance between good and evil, or positivity and negativity. Much of what is happening today is a direct reflection or mirror of past events throughout the decades. Trust and believe, the current events of this year have left us overwhelmed, frustrated, stressed, and grief-stricken. However, the beauty of negativity is that during times of great uncertainty, the most beautiful acts of change can happen too.Podcast intro produced by: Leem Lizzy @leemlizzyMusic highlight artists:Ledisi ft. | 8/16/25 | ![]() Whatta' Privilege | Habari Gani!! In 2014, I took a trip to Tanzania and Zanzibar that began the reckoning of my radical self-love. However, it wasn't just a vacation of sightseeing, good food, and beautiful beaches. I got a crash course on embracing culture, the concept of privilege, and how it contributed to these oppressive systems. Reflecting on current events, I feel we give entirely too much energy to people who refuse to see us as human. Let's work collectively to dismantle, unlearn, and check ourselves to create the best solutions for moving forward.
