The women who went to Jesus' tomb that first Easter morning were faithful but afraid, worried about obstacles they couldn't solve. Yet God had already rolled the stone away. Faith doesn't mean we're never afraid or confused; it means we keep believing even when we can't see the way forward, trusting that Jesus is already working things out. Stop waiting to see before you believe. Believe now, and you'll start to see that God has been with you all along, making a way when there seemed to be none. Series Summary: The religious leaders at the cross hurled a challenge at Jesus: “Let this Messiah, this King of Israel, come down now from the cross, that we may see and believe.” They demanded proof before faith. But the Gospel of Mark, especially in its story of the Passion, invites us into a different reality: believing in order to see. From the anointing at Bethany to the silent emptiness of the tomb, Jesus’ journey subverts our expectations. The one hailed as king is crowned with thorns.
