| 5/8/23 | ![]() Round Table Ep. 53 - Michael Chupka (Director of Communications, Bandon Dunes) | Today’s guest is Michael Chupka, Director of Communications for Bandon Dunes Golf Resort. Michael grew up playing out of Brandermill Country Club in the Richmond, VA area. He then earned a scholarship to play his college golf at JMU. In 2007, he set off for Oregon after getting an internship at Bandon Dunes, and as fate would have, it he never left! Michael has held many key positions at the resort in the last 16 years, including Head Pro at Pacific Dunes which then led to his current role as Director of Communications for the entire operation. Michael oversees all of the great media content and press that comes out of the resort, and is closely connected with the powers that be at BDGR including the Keiser family and the golf course architects who have made their mark at Bandon. We enjoyed learning about Michael’s story, and got some insight on the newly announced 19 hole par 3 course that is under construction now! Enjoy! | — | ||||||
