Good morning, this is your surf zone forecast for Thursday April ninth through Friday April tenth. Starting with Coastal Palm Beach, we've got some exciting conditions developing. A High Surf Advisory is in effect until eight PM Friday, with waves building to five to seven feet today and holding strong through tomorrow. That's the kind of swell that'll definitely get your attention out there. But here's the important part: we're looking at a High Rip Current Risk that continues through Saturday evening. These aren't just regular rip currents either. Life-threatening rip currents are likely in the surf zone, so if you're heading out, make sure you know how to identify and escape them. Swim near lifeguards, and if you do get caught, remember to swim parallel to shore. Today expect partly sunny skies with showers likely and a moderate chance of thunderstorms. High temperatures will reach the upper seventies with east winds around fifteen miles per hour. Water temps are sitting in the mid seventies, which isn't too bad.
