Good morning, this is your South Florida surf zone forecast for Sunday, April 12th through Monday evening. A High Rip Current Risk remains in effect through Monday evening for the Atlantic beaches of Palm Beach, Broward, and Miami-Dade counties. If you're planning to hit the water, exercise extreme caution and always swim near a lifeguard. Let's start up north in Palm Beach, where surfers are looking at solid conditions with waves running four to six feet through Monday. The water temperature sits in the upper seventies, and you'll have mostly sunny skies with east winds at ten to fifteen miles per hour. Low tide comes in at ten forty-six this morning with a high at four fifty-five in the afternoon. The UV index is very high, so slather on that sunscreen. Tomorrow follows a similar pattern with the same four to six foot surf and mostly sunny weather. Heading south to Broward County and Fort Lauderdale, conditions are a bit smaller with three to five foot waves today and tomorrow.
