Good morning surfers, this is your Northern and Central California surf forecast for Wednesday and Thursday, June 10th and 11th. A Beach Hazards Statement is in effect through 5 AM Thursday, so please check with your local authorities on potential beach closures. Let's start up north in Sonoma and Marin County. Wednesday is looking fantastic with northwest facing beaches picking up 9 to 13 feet of swell, while southwest exposures will see more modest 6 to 10 foot waves. Expect mostly sunny skies with temperatures ranging from the mid-50s to upper 80s. Northwest winds will start at 20 miles per hour and bump up to 25 as the day progresses. The tide will bottom out early at 0.9 feet around 2 AM, then climb to a 3.7 foot high mid-morning before dropping again to 1.6 feet in the early afternoon. That second high tide pushes up to nearly 6 feet by evening. Thursday in Sonoma and Marin, the swell mellows slightly to 8 to 12 feet on the northwest breaks and 5 to 8 feet on the southwest facing spots.
