About this episode

Fred Fishkin discusses the book '101 Lessons From the Dugout' with authors Ken Davidoff and Harley Rotbart.

Techstination, your destination for gadgets and gear. I’m Fred Fishkin. Every once in a while we love to talk about some notable books….whether you read them on a screen or on paper. 101 Lessons from the Dugout is the name of a new one from sports writer and educator Ken Davidoff and parenting expert Harley Rotbart. And Davidoff, it turns out, is an old radio newsroom colleague…and the book, in my opinion, is a home run… “It’s 101 small chapters, one to two pages each, directed towards youngsters ages 12 and up. But we also hope that they read it with their parents and grandparents and coaches and just easily translatable lessons that you learn while playing the game that you can take to the rest of your life.” From a sacrifice to a called third strike…and 99 more. Check out our full interview online. You can find us at Techstination.com. I’m Fred Fishkin.
