His books and films include The Journey of Life , OldMan Country , and the award-winning documentary The Strange Demise of Jim Crow . Dr. Cole’s research and films have been featured by The New York Times , NPR, PBS, and even the United Nations. In recent years, his journey has turned deeply spiritual—integrating mindfulness, prayer, and compassion into his work as a Spiritual Director.
