Freedom Law School Founder Peymon Mottahedeh argues that 99% Americans are not required to file federal income taxes. He personally has not filed or paid taxes since 1993 and has never been charged with a crime. He encourages others to follow his strategy to “legally” stop paying their taxes in order to help people keep the fruits of their labor, break free from IRS slavery, and restore America to a free nation as the founding fathers originally intended. Matt Gaetz pushes back on his claims: What are the legal consequences? What does America look like if millions of people stopped paying taxes?
