About this episode

The episode kicks off Giants Month by exploring the biblical origins and classifications of giants, including the Nephilim and their significance in the context of Genesis.

Giants Episode 1 — June is Giants Month Alright guys, we're kicking off Giants Month and I could not be more fired up about this topic. Shelly and I are finally in the same room for this one — which is weird and awesome — and we're diving deep into something we've touched on before but never really broken down the way it deserves. This episode, we're going back to the beginning. And I mean the beginning — Genesis 3:15, the Proto-Evangelion, the seed war. Because if you want to understand giants, you have to understand where the whole conflict starts. From there we walk through Genesis 6, the Sons of God, the Nephilim, and what it actually means that these beings took women by choice — the women didn't choose. We get into the pre-flood world, why everything was bigger back then (humans, trees, animals — all of it), what changed after the flood, and why the post-flood giants are a different animal entirely. We also cover the classes of giants you find throughout the Bible — the Anakim, the Rephaim, the Emim, the Zamzummim, Goliath, and King OG of Bashan, whose iron bed was thirteen and a half feet long. That's not symbolic, guys. Shelly brings up Corinthians, we talk about the Book…
