About this episode

Mark and Shawna Cary discuss their experiences in kids ministry and Mark's aviation career, including a rescue mission to Antarctica.

Today we are thrilled to have Mark and Shawna Cary on The Conversation. The Cary family was with us for a Kids Sunday at CCC, during our February Family Month. At least three children received the gift of the Holy Ghost for the first time, and everyone had a blast together! Mark and Shawna are parents to three awesome kids, Aven, Eliza and Winnie. They serve as integral members on the team at Life Church in Burlington, Ontario. Also, Mark has had a long-time career in aviation, currently flying commercially for Air Canada. In the Conversation today, Mark shares a story of how he flew a rescue mission to Antarctica during the Antarctic winter, they both share a little bit about their philosophy on kids’ ministry, and Shawna shares about an initiative she has launched that blesses ministry wives in her region called the Genesis Process.
